Not Exactly “Having It Our Way” at Burger King This Morning

We just rolled through the Burger King drive-thru for a quick breakfast and picked up four of the 2-for-$6 sandwiches — two sausage, two ham. There didn’t appear to be anyone inside dining, and we were the only car in the drive-thru. Naturally, we thought this would be a fast and easy stop.

Unfortunately, we were not having it our way.

First, the wait time was way too long for four breakfast sandwiches, especially considering how empty the place was. The manager who finally greeted us at the window looked like he just rolled out of bed and into a food fight. His shirt was stained, wrinkled, and definitely not what you’d call “presentable.” While we waited, he seemed more interested in chatting it up with a coworker than making sure our order was handled properly.

When we finally got the food, the sandwiches were a sad sight. The bread was dry and crumbling like it had been sitting out since yesterday’s shift. The cheese was practically a ghost — barely there — and overall, the sandwiches just looked unappetizing and slapped together with zero care.

To top it off, he handed us the bag with no napkins, no condiments, and no acknowledgment that anything was missing. We had to ask for napkins, and the look on his face made it seem like we were the inconvenience — not the long wait or the sad excuse for breakfast.

Burger King, if this is “having it our way,” y’all might want to check the settings, because this ain’t it.

We went inside to order to go. The inside was clean, a little busy. It was around 430pm. So just before the dinner rush. No one greeted us. We stood at the counter for over 5 mins . We were asking any employee we could for help. We were ignored. They just pretended like they couldn’t hear us asking for help. The experience didn’t get any better. Also we waited for 30 plus mins for our food. No other customers came in after us. Only 1 to 2 cars were in drive thru continuously. They weren’t that busy. Maybe they were understaffed or something. I could maybe look past the wait if so. But not the lack of any” Kind” service.

I will never go back to this Burger King on Yosemite in Modesto the last three times I went there. I was either the first or second vehicle in the drive-through yet I had to wait at least 25 to 30 minutes each time there is apparently one person that takes your order then she goes to the other window takes your money and then she goes and make sure burgers and fries after she done taking her smoke break horrible, horrible horrible disgusting

Just went by around 7:10- 7:15 . On window and online says christmas eve they close at 8pm.they ignored at drive thru till I said hello . Said they were closed. It was like as I turned into drive thru they turned off lights. All chairs were up already. They closed before the time they claimed and again it was a rude lady. I think she has red hair?? Anyways she is always upset thats how I remember her now. Wild management procedures. U never close before the time. U may get ready but shouldnt deny customers. Big Fail

No question one of the best Burger King restaurants in California!!
I happened across this Burger King a few months ago on my way from shopping. I have been through the drive through about 7 – 10 times since, and every single time, every time, the food has been perfect!!! I always order with changes, and every time the food is exactly as ordered. The food is always hot. The fries are always fresh and fantastic! The staff are always polite, happy, and obviously care to get the order exactly as ordered.
I’m not sure who is managing this spot, or who is doing the hiring, but who ever it is, Do Not let them go!! The staff is fantastic! I know that Burger king is considered “fast food”, but honestly, this particular Burger king does not at all come across that way.
I can not say enough about the consistency here!! 5 stars across the board!!

Omg they have a bunch of kids working no good service didn’t give condiments for my coffe or ketchup or napkins they for got my 2 coffe was dinning in couldn’t use bathroom room men out of service but the lady was working but they ignored me I was passing bye from the bay area rude people the lady came out bathroom did not see her wash her hands asked to get my coffe and sugar they didn’t even fill my coffe to the top only half way I was so disappointed I just didn’t say nothing we ate inside and left but never again will come back please check your staff a young man cuzing and taking orders not professional the lady cooking not washing hands and lady register ignoring people at front

What happened to your way right away? I placed my order at the kiosk to dine inside the staff, did not talk to us at all, and they got my order wrong. It got fixed, but we’re annoyed or mad to even talk to a customer like they did not even care. That the order was wrong,also they did not have mayonnaise or hot sauce was told they don’t carry hot sauce anymore
