When it came out, I was honestly so shocked, that I just had to get a pic. Food was good, though, so can’t even be mad. They do need better cutlery, though.
This is only my shared experience. I hope that you may be fortunate enough to have different staff on duty, different attitudes in place, and different disposition about working in an establishment that’s meant to cater to the public. As a paying customer, my girlfriend and I are not only disappointed, but do not feel satisfied with the overall purchase of our food.
We initially chose this Burger King because it was the closest to our residence (Univeristy Ave) in December week of the 7th. My girlfriend and I were in a mood to try the newly advertised melt burger. Upon arriving to the location, I was promptly met by someone who didn’t understand my request. I then repeated, choosing slightly different wording, to which the person taking the order gave their microphone to someone else. I then promptly asked if they were selling the melt, which I was melt with a confused “No, and that they had not heard of it and weren’t selling it there.”
Disappointed, but not willing to waste gas or upset my girlfriend too much, I called to ask her what she then wanted. When she made her order, she asked for a crispy chicken sandwich. I then orders a bacon king WELL DONE. The order came out to 22.28.
When I got to the window, I paid, then received the drinks shortly after receiving my card. After a brief wait, I was told to pull up to the door and the meal would be brought out. After another 2-5 minute wait, I then received my order, and I left the establishment.
Arriving home, I distributed the meal to my girlfriend and myself. Her sandwich was of no issue. She only mentioned the fries were very small for a large in comparison to other fast food establishments. I unwrapped my sandwich and noticed it wasn’t very well cooked, but rather, looked as though it had been left under a heater, as the cheese was very melted and the meat itself did not look properly “charred.” It was after 9pm, and a 15 minute drive one way, so I ate my sandwich and enjoyed at least the fries.
To back up my story, I have provided the pictures below of the receipt, and my burger. Safe to say, I will not visit this location again, and I understand why their ratings are already low. If a customer is paying and makes a request, I believe that request should be honored and respected within the perimeters of work conditions and regulations.
