I don’t often eat fast food but this weekend I went to 2 separate restaurants in Reno and had COMPLETELY different experiences. I went to Taco John’s and loved the experience (see my Taco John’s review). The food at Taco John’s was delicious, inexpensive and the service was above average. Burger King was a disappointment in all of these respects. I’d watched a Whopper history video on YouTube over the weekend and was curious to see what Burger King’s sandwich was about since I hadn’t had one in probably 15 years. I ordered a Whopper meal, substituting a shake for the soda pop. This was just over $12! The employee I dealt with was very unenthusiastic and seemed to be in a bad mood. Upon receiving my food, the sandwich was lukewarm, which was the first time I’d ever experienced this and the fries tasted as if they were 3 days old. The shake was the worst I’ve had in years, as well. So, it’ll be at least another 15 years before I go back to BK.

Placed our order in drive thru at 1:16 but didn’t receive the food until 1:36. Customer service was lukewarm and they spent the majority of the time milling around waiting for the food. Fries were cold, hamburger patties were cold, buns were soggy. This store has always been slow but it has gotten really bad since the pandemic. This is the last time we will be going here. Tried to do the survey but the survey is not working and apparently it hasn’t for months according to the comments.

Ordered 2 drinks in the drive thru and it took 7 minutes. When I got to the window, there was a 10 year old working. I have no clue how thats legal or why they allowed him to be there but that definitely needs to be addressed.

1 star is to much. This place is barely busy and they run out of ranch, bbq and lettuce. Order two whopper and they were both GROSS and one didn’t had any lettuce. Just a bunch of incompetent staff and management. Don’t waste your time getting food here, you’ll be very disappointed and not worth your money.

Worst drive thru ever. Sat at the order screen for 7 minutes, I was not acknowledged. I pull forward to just drive on through but that took another 15 minutes. To top it off as soon as the vehicle behind me pulled up to order, they were greeted immediately.

Ordered a combo and was asked what kind of drink I would like. I asked if they has lemonade, the worker replied with no only pink lemonade which was fine. Get up to the drive through window to pay and the worker didn’t even give me a receipt. The food came out pretty fast which seemed right as I was the only one in the drive through and their lobby was closed already. The pink lemonade he claimed to only have, was actually regular lemonade which is fine, but don’tsay you only have pink lemonade to serve me what I originally asked for. How do you mess up an order and forget to put food in the bag when I am the only customer there?!?!? The food was cold, the onion rings tasted like they had been sitting there all day and the burger was not worth 11 bucks.

Burger King is a no go. I have ordered from doordash today and waited about 40 minutes that included dashers to switch due a long wait. They have forgotten several items, burgers were cold, bread was burnt, white fluid in the chicken, no cheese, no flavor. I have paid $57.12 cents and was offered a $5-$10 refund.
