Food is beyond gross and stale. I hadn’t had BK in a long time, we got the mozzarella fries and regular fries and they tasted like they were sitting out all day, not fresh at all, and the cheese wasn’t even hot, nor melted. Do not waste your time and money here. Burger wasn’t too bad, warm but not hot or fresh. Food just wasn’t good quality or hot.

I ordered my food on the app and so I did the hot off the broiler cut in half I had extra lettuce that I paid $15 for I paid extra for extra tomatoes there was barely any lettuce and the lettuce was all clumped together and hard. The bun was cold and hard the Patty was called I had to heat it up in my own microwave. I have tried calling to complain and it has literally been 10 times that I have called so far and no one answers and when I was there there was one person in the dining room no one in the Drive-Thru. So I don’t know why they couldn’t get this right or why they can’t answer the phone

I came to the Burger King on University and the loop last week, and I waited in the drive through for over 5 minutes before they asked for me to order. I ordered and pulled up and waited for over 15 minutes for a fully loaded croissanwich. When I got the food, it was missing ham from it. The receipt showed the correct order. I am here again this weekend and I pulled up to the drive through and I waited for a couple of minutes and no employee asked me to order. I backed up and walked inside, where there was only one person eating food and I was the only other customer. The lady taking orders was talking in the back with the cook and she came right to the front when I walked in and she takes someone else’s order from the drive through. After I ordered my food, she walks back to the cook area and the cook starts swearing loudly in the back. It was not an argument, she was talking about a ride in the car, but was swearing every few words. I love croissannwich’s from Burger King, but service at this location sucks! Do better!!!

I had a very disappointing experience at this Burger King location. South loop and univeristy ave.

I placed a to-go order for only two Whoppers and one French fries at 5:42 PM (order #62). After waiting almost 30 minutes, I noticed that customers with later order numbers (up to #67) had already received their food, finished eating, and left.

When I asked about my order, an employee told me they were “still making it” and were waiting on the fries. It was hard to understand how such a simple order could take over 30 minutes while many others were served first.

At that point, I said I no longer wanted the order. The floor manager then threw the food package into the trash can in front of me, without any apology, and tried to process a refund. We later found out he was not authorized to issue refunds and told us to “come back tomorrow,” which was unacceptable.

Only after I insisted on resolving the issue immediately did he go get the actual store manager. The store manager was much more professional. I decided to just receive my food instead, and once the manager stepped in, the order was completed in about 5 minutes.

In total, it took almost 50 minutes to get two Whoppers and fries. There was no sincere apology from the employee who caused the delay, and his behavior was rude and unprofessional.

This experience shows a serious lack of order management and customer service. I hope the store addresses staff training and professionalism, because the manager handled the situation far better than the floor employee.

Don’t eat here! Waited in drive through for 30 minutes when other vehicles behind us got their orders. Horrible service and would not refund us. We ended up leaving not waiting on stupid fries.

Rude staff. Literally for no reason. Told me Burger King doesn’t sell bacon cheese burgers any more(it was literally on their electronic menu behind her) . So I got a different option. To which I found out after paying they were out of the ingredients to make that so the burger would have only some of the ingredients. Which is usually ok with me if they weren’t so unnecessarily rude in the beginning. I called 2 other burger kinds and they do still sell this bacon cheese burgers BTW. But ya, cold fries, not complete menu item and rude staff. 1 star because there isn’t an option for 0.

I just left here and it was a joke . It took 20 minutes to get my food becuase they were waiting on fries and when I get the food they inform me that they are out of the drink I ordered ,the chicken sandwich I ordered, BBQ sauce, ketchup ,and napkins! And they forgot to give me the fries ! Who ever was running it is a joke and should be reevaluated on wether or not you really want this person in charge of your franchises profits.

Hasbrowns stale. I asked if they had apple.juice and was told yes bit got to the window was told they didn’t after I paid and tried to give me orange juice. I said no and then they produced an apple juice, crushed, and with no way to open it. They guy working the window and taking orders seemed like he really didn’t care.

Love burger king, but this location sucks. Food never seems to be fresh, room temp after a 2 minute drive, and the location is really bad with the Loop traffic on both entrances. Probably not their fault, but save yourself some disappointment and hit up a different Burger King in town, if that’s what you’re feeling.

Staff was not bad, super reasonable, very nice, but the disappointing food has to make this a one star. Sorry guys.

On this particular day I got lucky and was greeted with great service, great food, and fast drive thru. Lately Burger King has had a bad reputation for the service and food but, not that day. Great job.
