Today will absolutely be my last visit at this location, and I will share the details of how lousy the situation was as well.
There are warning signs all over this site which includes the strip center next door for the same towing company and not parking if you aren’t a customer. The signs do not say anywhere on them about being a specific brand (ex. BK, Subway, Chicken Salad Chick). Only shows the tow company.
The tow companies that work with Milstead (per the Burger King manager) literally park here just waiting for opportunities to get someone. I literally sat in my vehicle after having to pay $135 for them to drop my vehicle, and after 15 minutes I’ve been watching the same driver circle through the property twice and now there is another truck that’s been parked waiting as well. They also sit over at the gas station lurking around the corner.
While sitting here I helped a gentleman in a Nissan as he was sure to suffer at least the same $135 fate if I didn’t warn him. It’s $330 +/- something if you have to pick it up at their yard.
It’s disappointing that when I tried to casually discuss the situation with the driver he could only say “Read the sign.” I read the sign and it says nothing about Burger King on it. The same signs are also over at the strip center and I never saw any vehicles being towed on that side.
I then tried to discuss with the BK manager and he claimed he had no control over this and did the corporate blame game.
If that’s the case then shame on your poor business model, and I hope that your business finds better people to solve your dying business plan in most markets. A busy parking lot represents you are doing something right and it welcomes foot traffic to your front door. The area I parked in wasn’t even blocking any business flow for you guys or even remotely near your front door. What if I were in the restroom or with my kids in the playscape…
45 minutes later:
1 tow truck left, finally. The other is still hiding and waiting for someone to pounce on.
57 minutes later he finally drove off. Let’s see if he comes back…
Updated: this is from last year. That explains the very little traffic into their business for sure!

Been a long time customer here. The food is fine if you like BK. However, I was picking up an order from Chicken Salad Chick. Their parking lot was full and cars were circling so I parked in the huge, nearly empty parking lot at BK directly across the street to walk over and grab my order. Before I even opened the front door to go in a tow truck was backing up to my car. What a way to treat potential customers. Never seen anything like it in a nice area like this. I’ll continue to eat at BK but I’ll never go back to this one or the one on Sawdust, owned by Allstate BK
Real Estate Holdings LTD.
