Sometimes curiosity brings you through a door you should’ve just passed by. This was one of those times. I walked into this Burger King on New Road with low expectations, just hoping for a classic char-grilled Whopper. Instead, I got a crime scene.
The Whopper arrived drenched—no, assaulted—with mayo and ketchup. Not just on the inside, but smeared all over the outside of the bun like somebody took out their bad day on my lunch. It was a mess. A cold, wet, structural disaster that fell apart before the second bite. No balance, no care—just chaos in a sesame seed suit.
Then came the “Havesies,” a half-and-half mix of fries and onion rings that promised variety but delivered freezer-burned mediocrity. The onion rings were flavorless, limp, and hollow. The fries? Equally lifeless. Not crispy. Not hot. Not even salty. Just… tired.
The dining room was eerily quiet—ghost town vibes. The floors were dirty, the condiment station was neglected, and the air carried the distinct scent of resignation. I should’ve listened to the dozens of times I passed this place thinking, “Not today.” But today, I did. And I won’t again.
This location is a masterclass in how not to care. From service to cleanliness to execution, it’s clear the wheels have fallen off—and no one’s steering.
