I stopped in today while waiting for my flight. After placing my order, it took about 25 minutes to receive my food even though there were barely any customers in line. I ordered an 8-piece chicken nugget meal that cost around $17.

After waiting about 20 minutes, I asked an employee about my order. She told me that the only thing I had ordered was a medium fry and that was all she gave me—after I had already been waiting that long. That doesn’t make any sense unless the price of a medium fry suddenly went up by $14. I’m also very confused on if that was the case why it took 20 minutes.

Very disappointing experience, especially considering the long wait and the incorrect order.

I am not sure why everyone is so cruel on reviews here bc my experience was amazing. I ordered at the kiosk w contactless credit card in 5 min, I waited 10 min for my food, I had the option to add onion rings to my impossible burger (meatless burger is soooo good) for only $0.30 extra and got 6 cute onion rings inside the sandwich which they spread out well, I could opt out for mayo (which they will usually put unless you ask it not to be added if they recall), I added mustard and ketchup, ordered fries that comes w the combo, had the option to add a whole order of small onion rings for $3.49, got a small Minute Maid lemonade fountain drink w my combo meal, the small fries were nice and hot and lightly crispy on the outside (I like the old version when they came out with an extra crispy fry), they added ample Heinz ketchup packets (6), and included 6 to 7 napkins which is just right (not a waste but not just 1-2). So despite my flight delay, I got to eat for a total of $17.65 after $1.86 in tax plus the $0.30 extra for cute onion rings in the meatless burger. Better than starving at the airport after everything closes. I just wish the impossible burger were a bit thicker. And more well done even tho it’s not real meat. I will ask them in person for that bc there was no option to write a comment in the kiosk. But overall a great experience for someone who doesn’t eat most meat.

I recently traveled from O’Hare Airport, and before a 7-hour flight, I decided to eat at this Burger King. I completely regret it.
To begin with, the service was awful. The staff (they seemed to be Indian or Turkish, not sure) were yelling at each other right in front of customers, arguing loudly and being extremely rude and unprofessional. I ordered from the self-service screen outside, which doesn’t give you a receipt, so you have to go to the counter and tell them your order.
They got my order wrong, didn’t give me the drinks, and when I asked for them, they tried to charge me again. When I explained the situation, a woman (probably in her 50s) started yelling at a young girl, maybe 18 years old, for not giving me the drinks. It was obvious the girl was new and still learning.
The issue wasn’t the mistake—it was the disrespectful and aggressive attitude of the staff, especially the short woman at the register who was shouting at everyone.
The food was just as bad: the meat was in poor condition, the fries were raw inside and burnt outside. But given the toxic environment among the staff, the bad food wasn’t surprising.
As if that weren’t enough, the prices were ridiculous: $20 for a burger, fries, and a bottle of water. If you’re at this airport and hungry, go somewhere else. There’s a better spot upstairs near Gate M28, right across from the bathrooms—same prices, much better service.

If I could give them a Zero! Terrible food and terrible staffs. Ordered a burger, got an overcooked one and taste bitter. I brought it back to the staffs. No Apologize! She yelled to me with her bitter face, just like the overcooked burger, saying the burger comes from the machine. Sounds like they have no control to their cooking machine and it is none of their businesses. Then she asked my order number and name to check in their system. No records found. She spoke to me loundly all the time and showed no respect to a customer. Then another bitter face woman came asked my payment information and said how can I get my refund. No apologize from this lady as well! I said no, I just want another one, normally cooked one. She said nothing and just made another one for me. She handed the burger to me without saying a single word like I’m just a machine standing out there. The funny thing is the second burger is no surprisingly overcooked again! Yes, all are from the machine. So all need to be overcooked. That makes sense.
! What a burger king here! How they train their staffs here and the quality control here is a joke. See the pic of the second burger. If you think this looks normal, you definitely not taste them. DON’T ORDER FROM HERE!

Wish I could give it 0 stars, appalling service, 10 people working only one taking orders and one making burgers. Failed to let people know that they were running low on beef, so many people have paid and are being left with unfulfilled orders. On top of this a ridiculous wait time, worst food experience ever, I understand an airport isn’t the easiest place to serve but it was shocking from top to bottom, awful, abhorrent, I’m running out of ways to describe what a shocking experience this truly was.
On top of this, they were unable to fulfil our order properly, and instead of telling us they lied and said it was correct. Furthermore the chips were cold. As you can see in the picture a single burger when a double was ordered, no offer of other items, absolute shambles. Glad I’ll never be coming again, but would expect a refund on the unfulfilled order after being lied to my face about it three times.

I am flying to Copenhagen on a red eye and I was really really hungry since I have been traveling all day and only had breakfast. Tried to eat dinner here but they were out of everything. They had no burgers. They had no chicken sandwiches. The only thing they had was chicken McNuggets. At the late hour there is no other food options at Chicago O’Hare terminal 5 but there are lots of flights leaving late in the evening for Europe. They are missing out on a business opportunity here. They should stay open longer and have plenty of stock to serve the late flights to Europe. Lots of complaints in previous reviews about them closing too early and running out of things. They have self service kiosks but I have never seen them in use and I have been here frequently the last couple of Months.

Ordered a Whopper meal. The sandwich was all bread, could barely taste the burger. Had to take off the bottom bun to even taste the meat and the bread looked burnt. Why is airport food so bad?

Stale bread, barely heated, and this is the size of the patty of chicken I got. It didn’t even fill the bun width wise and this is how thin it is. Sadly this is one of the only food options in terminal 5, but I’ll go for the vending machine over this

I ordered the meal through kiosk at around 21:30. Maybe it is because close to 22:00 when the shop closes, the man who noticed my order looked a bit upset. When he was filling the drink, he at the same time joking around with co-worker in the kitchen about “spitting in the drink”. Even though he is not speaking toward me, this is not the message I want hear from people who is preparing my food.

I just want to have a warm meal before my long haul flight.I did not have many options to choose at that time in O’Hare airport. Probably this is too much to ask. Sharing my experience here if you order here, maybe look closer while they preparing your food.
