I recently visited Burger King in Appleton, and I have to say — the mustard was unbelievably bad.
This wasn’t just “not great.” It was flat, dull, and weirdly watered down. There was no sharp tang, no bold kick, no depth — just a bland, lifeless smear that somehow managed to make the entire sandwich worse. Mustard is supposed to elevate a burger or sandwich. This did the opposite. It tasted cheap, overly processed, and like it had been sitting out far too long.
There was zero vibrancy to it. No zing. No balance. Just disappointment in yellow form.
For a place that serves classic sandwiches where mustard plays a key role, this was honestly shocking. One star solely because that mustard experience completely dragged everything else down.

Very nice place. Food is always prepared accurately and delicious. The customer service matches that quality too. The interior is always clean and organizer. Dining room is nice and chill. I love the junior breakfast burrito it’s so good and great price. This place rocks!

Fast food, nothing special though I think it is a bit better than McDonald’s. Customer service was great inside. Helped by a new employee of four weeks named Jennifer. She was friendly and had great customer service skills! Best I have seen in long time in a chain restaurant. Food came quickly and the inside was clean.

Used to be pretty good, a lot of little things added up to a bad experience recently.
I decided to try the new Whopper Melt they were advertising on their big Burger King sign. The sandwich came with the right ingredients inside but the wrong bun. We used a deal on the app that clearly said we could get a free Original Chicken Sandwich with a $3 purchase but was told the deal doesn’t work for the OCS. The bun of the Chicken sandwich we did get was a little burnt and very very stale. Half the fries were hot, and half were cold. The pop was all ice and very little actual soda.
Very disappointed, we will be going to McDonald’s from now on.

11/20/25. 9:50 pm. Lady at drive thru was quite rude. And wanted bacon on my chicken sandwichs …sticker on the wrapper even said Bacon. There was no bacon. Won’t be back for awhile

*EDIT. I went back and they not only got me fresh fries and a heartfelt apology. But a coupon for a free meal to use whenever. Changing my review to match the wonderful response of the team there. Bonus points to the manager for not ragging on the staff, but kindly reminding them to quality check and helped them fill the order.)
A very good alternative to other fast food. However I was very disappointed when I got home and saw how old and dry and shriveled my fries were. I was there in the middle of the day during a dead time… guess I should have asked for fresh cuz these were clearly sitting out for ages. Why would anyone look at these and think “yes this is okay to give to someone” sad. I was really was craving the fries in particular. I’ll change my review if I can get fresh fries.

Wanted to say that Sarah is an awesome employee and deserves a raise in my opinion! she has limitless energy and a great smile for the customer. She also went out of her way to carry food to the play area because the moms were full! Thank you all Burger King! Excellent visit!!
