Watching out for every customer is hard but today I have experience that the members at Burger King did a great job on that so I give 4 stars. Thanks you 🙂
Friday night treat, $30+ on food for my daughter and I alone. She got a plain Wednesday whopper with cheese, a small fry and a slushy lemonade drink. We got the Gomez churros to try together. I got a whopper and a med fry.
They forgot our fries. Go back through the drive, told to go to second window, they give us new fries after 12 minutes and the guy who handed us the fries had just tried to blame the boy who took our order for their mess up cooking. No- he was running the window, you guys are cooking. Take responsibility.
When he handed us our “fresh” fries, he was chewing and talking with his mouth open and told us “here ya go”. Um no, we’re not highschool friends, I’m a customer and it was just rude.
We get home 7-8 mins later and we find out there is no dipping sauce for the churro things which are now cold, the fries are overcooked ( so hard and so gross) and not salted, my sandwich is so sloppy and soggy and falling apart (I didn’t even eat my hamburger soup) and my daughter’s Wednesday burger was now cold. The ONLY thing good that was left was her slushy lemonade.
I tried to call. 4x. No answer.
Saturday, tried to call. It was 6-7x no answer. I tried again later, two more calls, FINALLY, get an answer. Asked for a manager. “Yes, this is the assistant manager.” I asked for a refund, she couldn’t do that, I should have come back last night. She could remake my meal. I did NOT want a nasty replacement, I wanted my money back for my inconvenience. I asked when the real manager would be in, “I can’t tell you that”. Great.
Knowledge says the manager will be in on Monday. Didn’t call Sunday. Monday I called and no answer. Wait an hour, no answer. Ran to Walmart (next door and shopped for our groceries), pulled into BK and called. No answer. Walked inside. Found a restaurant that was NOT busy and a manager right away. It was mid morning, I explained what happened and he had to go call his district manager to do a refund. It FINALLY happened.
I WILL NOT be returning. Ever. The assistant manager was not helpful, the night shift apparently needs supervision (besides the boy who took our order he was GREAT!) and the lack of real customer service.
In the end the manager handed me my money and said that they hoped to see me again. Kind, but eh, trying to keep the peace. I said thank you and walked out.
Hope you guys pull it together. Not a fun experience!
