The friendly greetings, the clean environment, help with navigating the menu, how amazing the staff is in just a 30 second window, to the farewell. The team here is amazing and everytime I come here its a great experience.
I grew up eating BK for 20+ years, stopping in after a shopping trip with my mom. Its amazing to stop back in after being away and still getting wonderful experiences in a quick fast food trip. Just wanted to thank the team and make sure others know what a great stop this is!

Best Burger King by far. Ive been to multiple BK’s for dine in and drive-thru and this one in Valparaiso on 30 is the best. Very clean and you get your food quickly. Thank you to every employee who comes in and has a great time

Admittedly it’s been several years since I had a Whopper, so when I unwrapped my whopper sandwich I was pretty shocked that it was hardly a hamburger. It didn’t have that fresh char-broiled feeling either. I won’t go out of my way to have another one, but it works for that day. And for the record, this Burger King is always pleasant and quick. The other location on Calumet is the worst!

The staff were very friendly but a little loud when they weren’t assisting customers and were goofing off with each other. No big deal for me but might be for others. I saw the person in grill while I was ordering, and she seemed kind of sloppy and heavy-handed with the condiments. The Whoppers she was making were drenched in sauce! I didn’t think much of it, having worked in a fast food place myself many years ago, until I got my food. There was ketchup all over the outside of the bun, making it very unpleasant to hold. Maybe she had the bun upside down, realized it after applying the ketchup, and flipped it over? The burger tasted off, and I could only eat part of it. My hands were an absolute mess, as there wasn’t a clean way to eat it with all the ketchup in the wrong place, and there was way too much mayo. But the fries were fresh, hot, and tasted good.

I was overcharged, questioned it with posted price on board, cashier verified on register that yes that is what she charged. When I paid I had to ask for the receipt, was absolutely overcharged and pointed it out on the receipt, the cashier looked confused. The manager came to the window, looked at receipt, looked at register and stated that he doesn’t know why that happens sometimes but he would ask the owner when they were in next. Didn’t offer the $2 overcharged back, when I said I needed refund the manager stated that if that was what the register rang up, that was the charge. I didn’t have the time or energy to argue with ignorant people further and left. Watch your receipt, because the price board and register do not match.

So, one day recently I went to this Burger King. I had not been in years. I ordered two cheeseburgers off the grill with onion rings cooked to order for my daughter and myself. Oh my gosh, the Onion rings were hot and yummy , my burger was hot and delicious. That one day turned into two more days of visiting. The second day the computers were down and they were not taking orders . The third day I came with my other daughter. The line was small nothing as busy as the first day. I was craving this hot deliciousness and when it was my turn in the drive – thru, I asked for a burger off the grill. To my surprise Laura said we are too busy to get it off the grill.
She was rude in her tone. I asked if I am paying for it, why can I not get it off the brolier? She then said ” I just told you we are too busy. Now the first day it was crazy busy and I got it off the grill. Usually I would of said forget it. Even though burger king use to have the motto, “have it your way”. If it was that busy, I would think it would be off the grill anyway. I did notice I couldn’t smell the grill . Anyway, Laura you were not nice and fluffy, no mam you were not. When I got to the window though, Lyn made it all better in her Freddy kruger costume. Food was still hot and delicious.

Super clean. There was an employee going around cleaning tables. Restrooms were clean. Employees friendly. Food was freshly made. Very well ran BK. I was impressed all around! To top it off, they have an indoor play place! I didn’t know they still existed!

The lines at this Burger King are always ridiculous BUT they are super fast , polite and the food is always fresh when you get it . I have only gone here for lunch but you can tell the manager does a good job with this crew . I will not eat at any other Burger KIng besides this one . I will return
