It seems like they’ve turned it around. The food takes a little longer to get in the drive thru, but all the food ive orderd has been hot, which it’s been years since I felt like the food was hot and fresh. Keep it up, I deleted the 1 star review I had.

I arrived at this location in Portage Indiana at 2:15 PM on 9/27/25. I was in the drive-through when a female asked Do you have an online order? I replied no. She replied It’s gonna be a 15 minute wait. I said OK. Can I place my order in the meantime? She replied it’s gonna be a 15 minute wait. I paused, not understanding why she didn’t answer my question and backed up pulled forward again to activate the drive-through. She again said it’s gonna be a 15 minute wait. I said I understand it’s going to be a wait. Can I place my order in the meantime? She replied no ma’am. It’s gonna be a 15 minute wait. There’s only two of us in here and I have hundred dollar online orders. Understanding they’re overwhelmed, I pulled around to the front of the building and I waited 15 minutes. After 15 minutes I see there’s several cars in the drive-through so I decide to go to inside to place my order. The same woman, because I recognized her voice, approached the counter and very rudely stated I am not accepting orders at this time. I explained I was just in the drive-through and you told me it was going to be a 15 minute wait. She repeated herself stating I am not accepting orders at this time. There was never any greeting or apology. Also, why would you tell your customer there’s going to be a wait only to turn around and tell them you’re not accepting orders?! If I had the option of giving them a no star rating, that’s what I would’ve done! Truly did not even deserve one star!
I may not have had an online order of $100 but I was there to place a big order as it was moving day and I had several people to feed. I had to go to a different Burger King 2203 Ripley Lake Station where I spent $70. That is what this store lost in sales with my order alone. I watched several other customers leave because they couldn’t place their orders either. I will never go back to this location again.
I will, however, return to the Lake Station location as they were professional, friendly and courteous. It was definitely worth the seven minute drive.

Food wasn’t bad after I was helped. There was a young man who finally realized his coworkers at the counter were ignoring and listening to music on their earphones and came to help. The two who ignored me obviously needed adult supervision except they were probably in there late twenties early thirties

I ordered mommy mobile app, a double whopper combo, I had ordered it to be cut in 1/2, so when I got home, it was totally pink in the center, and smelled raw. I complained thru the app, they refused to refund it, so I tried again, I had even supplied a picture of the pink burger, granted the lighting wasn’t the best, but it must definitely was pink inside. So I wasted $12 on an uneatable meal, that was not fully cooked, and could have made me very sick.

The employees always seem nice, I have no problems with interactions. However; I wanna say this is the third time my order has been wrong within the last few month’s. Really bad this time. I asked for a mushroom/swiss, got two patties cheese and onions thats it. I dont know how you get this from shroom & swiss. I put 3 for food because its not bad just wrong.

Store 2727 is my favorite store in Northwest Indiana, always fresh food and clean atmosphere , and professional staff. The cinnamon sweet treats are great with and without the icing.

Placed an order of one cheeseburger and one medium coke on app. Could not pick up order because lobby and drive thru were not serving anyone. Tried to cancel order through app but unlike McDonald’s app, you cannot cancel order. Will be filing chargeback on my card.

We first tried the drive thru, waited for a long time with no acknowledgement from anyone. Decide to go inside to take our food to go. Found out there was only one car in drive thru, and 3 kids up front. The employee was disgruntled about some situation, I get it life is hard, but proceed to curse and shouted in front of customers and children. Very rude atmosphere to say the least, we left without ordering anything this time. We dont need that energy in our lives.
