Kill Bill
On 12/4/25, after getting off a long work shift, I walked into the Burger King at 4984 University Blvd simply to order food and mind my business. Instead, I was treated in a way that made me feel humiliated, disrespected, and completely unwelcome.
The manager on the 1 PM shift immediately tried to kick me out — along with another customer — just because we had outside drinks, even though we were clearly there to purchase food. At first, I honestly thought she was joking, but she wasn’t. She spoke to us in a rude, dismissive tone and told us we had to buy something from Burger King or leave.
As if that wasn’t enough, she started cleaning the lobby in an aggressive, hostile way. She kept slamming the mop bucket and banging the trash can lid every time she walked behind me, like she was intentionally trying to make me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.
To avoid conflict and show goodwill, I even bought food for myself and the other man there—just to show we were customers, not problems. But instead of respecting that, she began antagonizing both of us. She told me I couldn’t buy him anything and then started talking about me to her coworkers in the back, loud enough for me to hear her insulting me as if I was some kind of squatter or homeless person.
Her words and actions genuinely hurt me. I’m a working adult, a paying customer, and I was treated like I didn’t belong there. The other man became so uncomfortable he left without even eating the food I bought him.
I still don’t understand why someone in a position of authority would treat people from her own community with such hostility and lack of basic human respect. The disrespect, the judgment, the unnecessary aggression — all of it left me feeling embarrassed and completely dehumanized I’m currently standing outside waiting for my uber in the cold because I do not feel welcomed

The staff here has always been phenomenal everytime I stop by. Also they have speedy service in the drive thru. I honestly cant say anything about the inside because I have never been inside, but if its anything like the drive thru it would also be just as great. This particular location in my opinion makes the best whopper. I dont make any changes to it, I just have it as it comes, and im always super satisfied. Only real flaw is when you have the juices from that fresh flame broiled burger, juicy tomato, and sweet onion with a nice bite dripping all over your hands, and down your arms soaking your steering wheel while driving. (Side note… people look at you funny when your at the stop light licking your steering wheel) but man its so good. To sum this up. Quick friendly service, tasty meal, on a budget, while on the go.

What the coupon states or the promotion details, that’s what you should get. They make up arbitrary changes at this location. I am a frequent customer and just happened to be on this side of town. Never experienced this anywhere else before. Not sure how shortchanging the customer helps your P&L when they decide to never return, but you do you.

It was such a vibe walking in today. I haven’t seen such kindness from everyone in the building . Soon as my hands touch the door it was all smile and greeting. The cashier was so helpful. Used the drive through, placed my order, and paid at the window. I was told to park at the front and my food will be brought out to me. After waiting for an extended amount of time and noticing that the customers before and after me were already served and gone, I enter to ask about my order. The items in my order where on the side of the shelf and when finally packaged, I returned to my vehicle to notice that my order was not complete. I return to the counter to request the remainder of my order where I overheard a staff member state that I did not order such item, even though it was paid for and a receipt was provided. Very poor customer service, waste of time and when my order was completed, the food was cold. Save yourself the headache and take your business elsewhere. P.S.the soft drink tasted absolutely DISGUSTING!

I don’t generally leave reviews, definitely not for fast food but I felt compelled to show this BK some love because they had some of the best customer service I have seen in an EXTREMELY long time. Every person I interacted with was so kind and helpful i really wish I would have gotten names (but shout out to the male supervisor(i believe) and the young woman working the cash register around 9pm on Tuesday).
My 2 year old spilled an entire medium sweet tea as soon as we sat down. I was dreading having to tell the BK employees because I thought they would be upset and react negatively. I offered to clean it up myself because I felt so bad. They assured me that it was okay, that they would clean it, and most importantly no one caught an attitude- they were so kind!
I really wish their level of customer service and humanity was the standard for all restaurants because it was top tier!
Thank you so much for the great experience at your restaurant, I just wanted you all to know that it didn’t go unnoticed!

They are always out special items and never update kidsmeal toys the service is either okay or down right rude there is never a happy medium they give you a small drink and tell you it’s a medium when it’s clearly not and then start getting really aggressive when you try to politely correct sorry workers who hate everything and want you to feel the same amount of hate they do for there fellow human not to mention there drive thru is like going into a maze there is no reason to have to drive all around the parking lot just to get in the drive wth
