I don’t like giving negative reviews, but the BurgerKing in Port Wentworth deserves it!! Not only did they try to close early but the food we did get was horrible. After ordering, and after paying at the window, we were told they were out of cheesy tots, so they replaced them with overcooked mozzarella sticks. I ordered a Bacon and Swiss Royal Crispy Chicken sandwich that, not only DID NOT have bacon, they took a chicken patty that goes on their Original Chicken sandwich, ripped it in half, and used that in place of the crispy chicken breast that is supposed to go on the sandwich!!! Soooo disappointing, makes me NEVER want to go to a Burger King again!!!

After 10 minutes of standing at the registers, a lovely lady asked if we’d like to place an order (burgundy top & leopard print headband)… she was very nice but needs to be coached on food safety… going from the register directly to handing food, even with utensils, is dangerous. No hand wash, no gloves. The two women in the back stormed around yelling things and shoving food around, to include our food once it was ready after an additional 20+minute wait. During this wait we witnessed one backhouse lady be rude and aggressive to several customers and mocked a Spanish speaking customer that struggled to translate his order. After we got our food, all but one burger and onion rings were cold. (We ordered two whopper combos). At one point while waiting, (the pic of lobby attached) she started yelling at the young lady to not take anymore customers. A couple already waiting and one walking in turned around and left. Writing this in hopes it reaches someone that cares about this business before these guys run it into the ground or get you shut down.

Not sure what the deal is with this place but seems like no one interested in doing the job. We pulled up around 1030 with the online site and door stickers both citing midnight closing time.
At the window we were told only accepting mobile orders because they were closing. Thats fine, its thanksgiving. We just got to town late and needed a quick bite close to our hotel. So I sat at the menu board and I placed a mobile order and when I got to the window I was told they do not have a full menu and could not sell double cheeseburgers. The cashier was pretty short. Clearly had no concern for doing the job.
Gave me 2 heavily sauced cheeseburgers that looked like they were modified from previous orders and rewrapped. Just really unfortunate that burger king seems to let their places run like this.
Almost definitely my last time giving burger king a chance.

First, our server was great. She was doing the best she could with little training on a new computer system she advised BK just installed. It really needs improvement. Other, croissants were very good. My coffee was good, too. Staff is great. Corporate needs a head examination as is the case with many of today’s retail operations.

Used to be a great Burger king! Recently things are terrible, no answer at window or speaker on multiple occasions. My final straw was the outright rude employees. I completely understand having a hard day and that some customers can be so rude! But i was very polite and I was met with rude comments as well as rushing with no one but me in line and inside was practically empty. I hope management can resolve this issue and encourage their employees not to take out their personal stress on all of their customers (except the rude ones of course).

Customer service is very poor at this location from the manager to the black overweight worker on afternoon shift with braids was very rude and in the process of taking the order she was very rude and rushing to take the order and mentioning that she cannot hear during the whole time. As I arrived to the window and received the food i had to wait a few mins before she turned around because she didn’t give me any condiments for my food and then proceeded to give me one sauce and mentioned after the one I’d have to pay 0.27 per sauce when I already spent over $29 for my food order. I would not recommend this location to anyone. This location already doesn’t get much business but treats the few customers they do get with little to no caring to satisfy them.

Awful service. Workers having their own conversation with each other while you’re trying to order. She kept saying “huh?” Because she wasn’t paying attention and talking to other workers. Ordered large drinks she gave us smalls . Told her those were to be large she said no, you ordered a small.

On 11-16-25 I ve experienced bad service at the drive thru window.I ve waited in line for 5 minutes,mind you I m the only one in line.I pulled up to see what was the hold up.The young lady at the window was just sitting on her phone and didnt even know I was there looking at her for about a minute.I honked the horn and she opened the window and said can I help you and I said yes you can I ve been sitting in the drive thru for 5 minutes and no one even said can I help you thats why I m at the window and that’s when she said we’ll she has her headset on evidently she’s not paying attention to what’s going on.She wanted me to go all the way back around to order and I said forget it I m not gonna waste another 5 minutes trying to order food and not get waited on.
This is not the first time this happened,it s been several times and I will not go back there terrible service

This was honestly the worst Burger King experience I’ve ever had. The door was unlocked, but they weren’t taking orders inside. After driving three hours, they were kind enough to let me use the restroom, but told me I’d have to go through the drive-thru to order.
I waited at the microphone for several minutes, but no one responded. I finally drove up to the window, and the young man said he didn’t realize I was there because they were only using the outer drive-thru lane — even though there was no sign posted to say that.
I ordered a Whopper with no onions and extra pickles. When I checked my food before leaving, I saw they had just scraped off the onions and there were no pickles at all. When I went back to the window, the employee simply said, “Sorry, we don’t have pickles.” ♀️
I asked if something was wrong with the store since the lobby was closed, and he said he didn’t know. The whole situation felt like being in the Twilight Zone.
After checking the reviews, I saw others have been saying for over a month that the lobby is closed and service is terrible. What is going on with this location? How are they even staying open? It’s clearly not short-staffed and but poorly managed.

I didn’t really eat here because I’m unable to. We went in and we were standing in the front for 10 minutes. The ladies were chatting loudly at the back. Nobody came to take our order. We were second in line. The person ahead of us must have waited even longer to put in her order. There are no cars in the drive through either. What’s happening.
