I reside in Decatur, and I’ll be honest—I’ve usually had bad experiences at this Burger King. It was always something: poor customer service, long waits, or even the store having no meat available. But today was completely different, and I have to give credit where it’s due.

From the moment I walked in, the customer service was perfect. The young lady at the front counter was kind, patient, and made sure I had everything I needed before I left. That alone was refreshing.

But the best part?
My entire order was fresh, accurate, and the store actually had everything in stock—including meat. The food tasted like it was made with care, not rushed.

Not sure if this location has a new manager or a new team, but whoever is running things now—keep them! I believe the manager was in the kitchen working right alongside her staff, and you could tell she was communicating well and keeping everything running smoothly.

Today’s experience was a major turnaround, and I truly appreciate it. I hope this level of service stays!

I was having a bad day and I was really craving an original chicken sandwich. At first, they told me that they were sold out, but a really nice Manager from another location brought some over! This really made my day and the staff were very kind! It’s a really lovely atmosphere!

I visited this location yesterday and would rate my drive-thru experience a zero due to extremely poor customer service. The male employee working the drive-thru asked me to pull around to the front to receive my food. I parked behind the vehicle that was ahead of me in line.

The male employee brought food out to the vehicle in front of me and then returned inside the building. Shortly after, another vehicle pulled around from the drive-thru. This time, a female employee brought food outside and gave it to the vehicle that arrived after me, while my order was still not addressed.

At that point, I exited my vehicle and walked inside with the female employee to request a refund. I asked the male employee who took my order where my food was, and his response was that he did not know. I then asked to speak with the manager. The manager did not address me directly regarding the situation; instead, she spoke only to the female employee about how to process my refund.

Customer service is essential, and this location clearly lacks it. If there is a system in place for managing drive-thru orders, employees should be properly trained to keep track of the customers they are serving. If the system cannot be managed effectively, it should not be used, as it is clearly not working.

Already a slow line just to get to the window and be told wait a minute, and then listen to him not mute the mic while he helps six or seven customers inside the store. I mean, dedicate someone to the drive-through. And then when I’m giving my order, I had to repeat the order like 10 times. Not sure where the comprehension is or the ability to put together the order. Super nervous to come back to this place.

The customer service means I’m just fascinated by how you treated me when I walked in for two orders that I had to come back to back… y’all are just great! I went to this Burger King on 2-17-2026. I drove up to the drive-thru and the young lady let me know that they were short staffed, which was ok with me. I’m a very patient person. I ordered 2 whoppers and a apple pie and was told to drive around to the front to wait on the food. Someone brought out the burgers, but I had to wait on the pie. I looked in my bag and my whoppers looked like regular hamburgers. I tried to go in to ask why they gave me 2 hamburgers & the doors was locked. So I waited until the worker came out to bring me the pie and asked about my whopper. The young man said that they ran out of whopper buns and then when I opened the burger, there wasn’t any tomatoes on it either. He said that they ran out of tomatoes as well. I’m like, I should’ve been told that before I was charged for a whopper, because this isn’t a whopper. I wasn’t a satisfied customer. I won’t be going back there.

I am always looking for good and great service. Even if it’s an old favorite in a new location. Even with the drive-thru line wrap a round the building, customers piling in the doors and the temperature steaming outside; the crew had the flames broiling inside. My burger came out fresh, hot, and juicy; my coke a cola was icy cold. Thank you, guys, for making my lunch fit for royalty.

I came here on my lunch break. I did the order on my phone and picked up in the drive thru. Mind you the day I went they closed the inside so drive thru was the only option anyway. However, HOWEVER, that drive thru line was worth the wait! As long and intimidating as it seemed, they were able to keep it moving rather quickly because they didn’t have to stop and take orders inside as well. And when I finally got my food I was so impressed! Let me tell you why. There is another Burger King that is just 1 mile from my job whose lines are much shorter but when I tell you the quality of the food they serve is just trash! The food is cold, the run out of ketchup, no lettuce, stale, it’s just always something. So when I came here and the fries were cooked to perfection, the nuggets were just the right amount of crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside, and the burger was so good I forgot to take a picture! my faith in BK was restored! I don’t know if it’s going to hurt me more to leave this good review and have more people come here, but they are just excellent with their service and they deserve to be told and recognized. And I was greeted with a smile!

After they take your money in drive through they have you pull around to front door to wait for your food to get you off of their time clock that tracks customer service time. This gives the higher ups the impression that you have been taken care of but you haven’t. My food order was incorrect and the cashier got upset with me because I wouldn’t drive around to the front door again to get off of her time clock. When I got my food, I heard her yelling to the top of her lungs, then she slammed the cashier window as I pulled off. SCAMMING.
