I just wanted to share this because I know not every order is perfect but this is something that made me and my mom sick. My mother and I ordered food from them today 8/7/25 around 8:30pm and they close at 9:00pm. I’m not sure if it was because we ordered late and they wanted to close soon and rushed the order? Which don’t get me wrong I understand wanting to close and be done. I don’t want to assume though. I usually like a little pink in my meat but this was completely raw with a charred front and back. The few bites I had, the meat tasted sour… My mom ordered rice with a beef patty and egg dish and her patty was the same. She ended up throwing up right after. I love this place and always go back to them. This is the first negative experience I’ve had with them. But thought I would share just in case for others. I’m not gonna stop going but I think I’m going to take a break for a long time after this order I’m sorry…

My Mongolian beef was good. Appearance great. And…. the sauce was amazing! Next time, I will definitely ask for extra sauce. My son wasn’t too impressed with his hamburger, but he said his previous experiences were good.

Decent food but it has definitely gone down in quality just in the last year. They lost their cooks that knew what “crispy bacon” meant and the buns seem to fall apart now as if they’re too dry. The fried rice is still good even though I don’t know anyone else in the world who puts corn in their fried rice. The Mongolian beef is probably the best option now. I would recommend trying it at least once. The staff is always friendly and quick with your order. And the fries are amazing all the time.

Burger Jim is a restaurant of two cuisines and both are well done. Their burgers and fries are very good. Their honey sesame soy chicken and mongolian beef are also both very good, and it can be difficult to decide which type of cuisine to choose. Seating is plentiful.

Used to really like this place, but the last time I ordered the house fries they were rancid. I’m not sure what part was rotten, but as soon as I tired a bite I gagged, something had REALLY expired. Concerned it was served, and wouldn’t go back knowing there is obviously no quality control if rancid food makes it out. Disappointing cause it was one of my favorites

This place has gone downhill so much.. the past 3 times eating here have been so disappointing. The portions keep getting smaller and quality lower. I got the Mongolian beef and the portion and size of meat was extremely disappointing. The burgers seem slapped together carelessly and a lot drier than they used to be. This time my entire order of fries were burnt little 1 inch pieces. After all the chances we keep giving them I don’t think we will be coming back. So sad we used to absolutely love this place.

OMG so, soooooo good! It’s our 2nd time here and they do not disappoint! Mine was the Sunday special HotJack w/the fries and the other 2 were Jim Burgers (1 w/o onions).
Fries are just perfect!
This place comes highly recommended from the locals and is very poplar for their Chinese food! Yes, seriously, they offer Chinese food as well but we haven’t tried it….yet!
Today was extra great because we witnessed the whole crew prep for their dinner rush….they were standing in a circle HAND FORMING the burger patties! Can’t get better than that!

I mentioned that I wanted a dish extra spicy, as if trying for gold in the spice olympics, and they delivered. In fact, they even wrote on the container that they only ever win gold, and to proceed with caution, so it’s obvious they read the special instructions! Great food and great humor!

I went in with high hopes after a friend told me this was the best spot for Chinese food, but I walked out pretty disappointed. The staff were fine, but the shrimp fried rice was rough. I could only get through half the plate before tossing the rest, it was somehow both oily and bland. Maybe I’m spoiled by East Coast spots, but I honestly don’t think the fried rice is worth it.

Don’t bother ordering double meat especially the Mongolian beef the shrinkflation is noticeable. I grew up here and burger jims was a favorite for us for years. The food used to be cheap, fast, and decent for the price. Not anymore. Now it’s average and overpriced. Disappointed.
