My husband and I were passing through from visiting family. We could not have picked a better place to have lunch. I could not leave Louisiana my home state without eating a good home made Shrimp PoBoy. The food was delicious and fresh . Very relaxing atmosphere after Church.

We stopped by here on our way to Foresthill. My hubby and I both got the cheeseburger. I got fries; he got onion rings. The reason I took off a star is because the hamburger patty was the typical prefrozen patty. If you tout yourself as a burger joint, at least serve the fresh ground meat patties. Other than that, no complaints. The restaurant was very clean. The bathrooms were clean which, as a woman, I very much appreciate. The onion rings were your typical Sysco pre-frozen rings but still good. The staff were friendly and the food was quickly prepared. The prices were also very reasonable. If in the area ever again, I’d be fine stopping by for a quick lunch.

The catfish was tiny strips with lots of the fatty dark meat on it. I tried cutting out the dark meat and the little bits left were also gross. Coleslaw was not good. My husband got a bbq po-boy. It was 3 strips of roast beef smothered in bbq sauce.
We threw more food in the trash than we ate.
Hush puppies were decent.

This is the only good place to eat around this town! Me and my son have eaten there the last two days. Yesterday when we had the chicken and today we had the catfish & shrimp platter. Both were good. Nothing super great but it was good food. No complaints.

No clean tables, but overall clean. We just wiped our table and enjoyed our meal. The corn nuggets were AMAZING, fresh and delicious! The Mac and cheese, however, was terrible. Everything else was delicious. Service was fast and the workers were friendly.

Stopped by this place because it was the only food spot in the area besides fast food and was very surprised that this place doesnt use gloves to handle raw food! I ordered my food then realized the girl was holding fish with her bare hand to put it in the grease then proceeded to go pick up a bread without washing her hands. I cancelled my order and walked out!

We got the wrong order and when we took it back they said that what I order. Why would I order something that I don’t eat. When we were trying to eat they were so loud and talking about things that shouldn’t be talked about. When we were leaving someone was waiting for there food they got it and was leaving and came back because they also got the wrong food. So it wasn’t just me. And if you tell the owner the will say not our people they are go workers.
