I ordered a pork chop plate the pork chops were so small and so hard I could not eat it. The fries were hard also. This is the plate I paid 12.99 for. That’s 2 pork chops on a Styrofoam plate. They are ridiculously small.

I travel between Delaware and Florida often and make it a point to support local eateries along the way. The Burger Chick did not disappoint! It’s conveniently located just off I-95, making it an easy detour for a fantastic meal.
Walking in, you’ll notice that while the interior has a bit of a retro feel, it only adds to the nostalgia of a simpler time. More importantly, the entire place—inside and out—is spotless, a true testament to the pride and care the owners put into their business. If the dining area is this clean, you can bet the kitchen is too!
I chose the catfish plate, and it was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with flavor. Absolutely delicious!
But what truly made my visit special was the warm and welcoming service. The lady behind the counter was beyond kind and patient—she didn’t even flinch as I rambled about my upcoming sinus surgery!

This place may be known for burgers, but their catfish is on another level. Perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside — honestly some of the best catfish I’ve had anywhere.
The service is always friendly, the portions are generous, and the quality is consistent every time I go. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and try the catfish — you won’t be disappointed.

The people there are very nice, I got a burger and I give it a ,6.5/10 so defidently above average. The atmosphere is good, there are fish on the wall and the place looks like it’s from 1970 but the condition of the restaurant is ok, they don’t have many decorations other than plants and fish on the wall. The fries are ok but they aren’t as good as McDonald’s or burger king. If your looking for a place when driving down the road then this is a good spot to stop for some old-fashioned dining. Keep in mind their burgers only come in large or Giant. But the large is like a medium and the Giant is like a large.

I had a piece of Fish Coleslaw & Hushpuppy both were delicious the Fish was very fresh. My husband had a Bacon Double Cheeseburger he thought was delish. Very courteous and helpful staff.

First time for us I didn’t catch the gentleman’s name that took our order and brought it to us as we sat outside because we had our dog but he was very nice great service. Now on to the food I had the regular cheeseburger I added bacon with fries all of it delicious definitely filled me up my husband had the giant cheeseburger with fries which was huge also added bacon very good he also ordered livers and gizzards cuz he had to work that night well they never made it to the house so needless to say they were yummy too! We will definitely be going back huge Plus for us they have two picnic tables outside.

Clean and food is always prepared with care. Food Always good.
The only problem would be two things.
1. Seating is ONLY for small skinny people.
You can not sit comfortable.
2. The bathrooms are very very small. When I sat on the toilet. My knees hit the wall in front of me. But it was clean tho!

Paid over $12 for a shrimp plate with half raw fries… my biggest issue was removing the breading from a shrimp only to notice they’re not de-veined. The slaw was okay. Best part of my meal was the roll. Not cool. I love supporting small businesses but cooking and selling shrimp with a intact digestive tract is nasty.
