We ordered two cheesesteaks, two burgers, two chicken burgers, and a family-size fry. Everything was incredibly tasty and well-prepared. You can really tell they use high-quality beef, and the fried chicken and fries felt surprisingly light—we didn’t have that heavy, greasy feeling after eating.
They also have homemade sauces, dessert meats (in the fridge for purchase), and merchandise available. The staff was very friendly, and ordering was a breeze. For dine-in, you just scan a QR code to place your order; honestly, it took us longer to decide what we wanted than it took for the food to arrive. We finished it all off with milkshakes. I’d definitely recommend this spot to anyone in the area looking for a delicious, feel-good burger.
-Wagyu chili nachos (the chips are made in beef tallow as are the french fries so no drooping or sogginess at all)
-Butcher BLT with an added fried egg
-French dip with fried onions
-Tallow fries
They also had in house non-alcoholic drinks that were so good. Organic Tractor lemonade and sweet tea. We wanted to try the sourdough donut holes and shake, but we were way too stuffed. Next time. Staff was really friendly, but what I really liked was a self serve station for to-go boxes with containers and lids. You also order from your table or a kiosk and then they come out with it, so limited interaction with waiter/waitress, but they were attentive and checked in on us. They also have a little ‘market’ take out section with steaks, broths and varied products.
We drove an hour after seeing a social media video highlighting that everything is fried in tallow, which we fully support and appreciate. I really want businesses like this to succeed.
Food: 3/5
We had the grass-fed and classic burgers. The beef itself was flavorful, but the cheese on the bun was overpowering and applied too heavily, masking the taste of the meat. Both burgers were assembled so sloppily that we had to take them apart and rebuild them ourselves.
We ordered a large fry ($15), and it came out ice cold. After telling our server, the fries were taken back and reheated (seemingly microwaved) and returned hot but soggy. At that price point, that was extremely disappointing, and mind blowing we wouldn’t get a fresh batch.
The cheesesteak had chewy meat, though the toasted bread was excellent. Again, the cheese overwhelmed the flavor. The house made ketchup was a nice touch.
For dessert, we ordered donut holes. They came out cold and slightly underdone, another letdown.
Service & Experience
Ordering is done entirely via QR code at the table. There’s no way to properly pace your meal unless you keep placing separate orders, so everything (burgers, fries, and donuts) arrived all at once. Also, had to ask for our drinks, which were forgotten.
At over $40 per person, we left disappointed given the cold food, value, and service issues.
Unfortunately, we wouldn’t return. I hope they take feedback into account, especially serving fries fresh (not reheated) and reconsidering the QR ordering system.
I got a double B&B burger and it also beats all the other smash burgers I’ve had
Absolutely will recommend to friends and will even bring them lol also, the cheese sauce is a 100000% must buy.
Their ketchup was made in house and it was better than the regular obvious heinz, it had malt vinegar and went super well with the fries
Coming again!
