The service, undoubtedly, was the highlight of my visit. The staff was attentive, polite, and quick to respond to any requests. They were accommodating, and their friendly demeanor added to the positive vibe of the place. Despite the disappointment with the food, the exceptional service made up for it to some extent.
Now, coming to the food, I must admit it fell short of expectations. The burger, which is the restaurant’s namesake, was overcooked, resulting in a dry and somewhat tasteless patty. The bun was also on the harder side, which made the overall burger experience less enjoyable. The accompanying fries were a letdown as well. It was evident that they had been reheated, as they lacked the crispy texture and freshness one would expect.
While the food left a lot to be desired, the environment and service at Burger 7 were commendable. With some improvements in the kitchen, this place has the potential to become a top-notch burger joint. If you’re looking for a comfortable setting and excellent service, Burger 7 might be worth a visit, but I’d advise keeping your expectations in check when it comes to the food
The burgers here at Burger 7 are budget friendly, packed full of flavor and quickly made.
If I had to compare overall rating, these would place just after Five Guys burgers. They’re not as overly seasoned as Shake Shacks burgers, but definitely have flavor enough.
Also, it may be a minor notation, but these are actual Cheeseburgers, not Burgers with Cheese.
Highly recommended for everyone. I’ve already introduced Burger 7 to my Coworkers down at the Mosaic District and they love it.
Walking in, B7 gives you the feeling of a classic burger joint. There’s retro music playing over the speakers, cement floors, an open ceiling and the smell of frying patties filling the air. I had high hopes…
…until I walked up to the counter. First off, the cashier gave us the “stare down” from the moment we walked through the doors. I’ve worked as a cashier, so I know it can be a little awkward just hanging around while customers figure out what they want, but it really started to get excessive. Like he wouldn’t stop looking at us and it was maddeningly uncomfortable. When we finally did order our meals, he was very curt. Not rude, but just not friendly.
Also, interestingly enough, we were asked to leave a tip after we ordered. This isn’t super unusual, I suppose, but it felt odd at a burger joint where we literally weren’t helped at all by the staff. Then again, we were made so uncomfortable by the staring cashier that we were too afraid of what was going to happen to us, or our food, if we refused to leave a tip. So I suppose it worked.
We took our seats and waited for our food to arrive, which took awhile and gave us the opportunity to look at the “burger joint” atmosphere a little more closely. First off, everything was kind of gross. I understand it’s a burger joint, so things are going to be a bit greasy, but I don’t know of anyone who likes to see ketchup stains on the table and pieces of bun underneath their feet.
I’ll also mention that the sauce bin was pretty nasty (see the photo). Almost none of the bottles had tops on them and they were covered in old, crusty sauce. Who wants to touch that?
Finally, our pager buzzed and we went up to get our food. As we were taking our last tray, I kid you not, one of the employees farted audibly, then turned and laughed at us. So that was fun…
We began our meal and I braved the gross sauce bin and tried to pour some ketchup on my burger, only to find that the bottle was empty. Pleasant.
The food itself, honestly, wasn’t that bad. The fries were cold, but the burgers weren’t bad. Nothing to write home about, certainly, but okay.
Nevertheless, the experience at the restaurant was absolutely terrible and ruined our perception of it.
I’ll also mention that we just about caught our deaths waiting for our food to arrive. It was a pretty chilly night, but the restaurant was so unbelievably cold, plus it just felt incredibly uninviting. I think we would have found more warmth eating our food in a cemetery.
My halloumi & avocado burger had two fat chunks of cheese, which was more than filling.
Milkshake was meh. Onion rings were fire.
If you’re after a halal burger after every other place has closed for the night, here your taste buds ain’t reaching nirvana but they definitely get satisfied
It wasn’t fixed ,not even with one screw . I got injured and no one care . The cashier guy didn’t even say sorry or anything when he saw me almost crying from the pain, instead of that ask me if i am ready to order . I called the store manager Mohammed, first he said that is not possible to be fallen off by it self then he said sorry .
I don’t believe how careless they are , unprofessional and disrespectful.
