Absolutely love this place! But I think I wouldn’t love it as much if it belonged to someone else. It’s one of those places that has amazing food and amazing service. But unlike most places, you get to know and see the owner and feel like family almost. She is warm and inviting and makes it better with her presence. Check it out and thank me later, lol.

Confession… I did not go to the life seminar where we learned how ghost kitchens work. But I didn’t even know I was headed to a ghost kitchen so I don’t know if that would’ve helped anyway. All that to say… Burgatti’s is the ghost kitchen inside Tripoli’s. Which I learned late enough to look like a fool. Burgatti’s patrons can order from a counter at the back of the restaurant off of a monochrome copier paper menu printed on someone’s $29 inkjet printer. I’m surprised you don’t just yell your order at the back door in the alley. There are two two-top tables outside where Burgatti’s patrons can dine. Are these tables also available to Tripoli’s customers who would prefer outdoor seating? ‍♂️ Are Burgatti’s patrons allowed to park in the “Tripoli’s parking only” spots? ‍♂️ So many unanswered questions but let’s talk about the burger. It’s nothing special. I got the “OG Burger.” (How many OG Burgers are there in this town?) The patty does have flavor but the sauce definitely makes this burger. I know this because the bites on the edges had no sauce and therefore lacked flavor which made me think I was eating a plain-and-dry burger like I was four. But those bites in the center were pretty good. So for trying to create something simple – American cheese, pickles, onions, and “classic sauce” on a toasted bun – they’ve gotten a good start but it needs some help. I’d give it a B. The sweet potato fries were really good but would’ve been complete with some sauce options. Again, a good start. And I couldn’t tell you about beverages because I wasn’t offered to make one a part of my order. Also, if you’re going to eat outside (which was offered to me) you’ll need to bring your own napkins and be prepared to either take your trash with you or walk down to Dogtopia to throw it away. All in all, this was an inhospitable experience but not a bad meal. Cheers to Burgatti’s for offering a secret burger with potential!

Had the lamb burger and beef kabob plate. Food was during lunch. Both plates were pretty solid. Not a place to come if you are in a hurry. 1 person working 4 tables and we were here for an hour and 15 min. Took a while to place an order, long time to get food after placed, and I ordered a coffee to go and regret it bc I’m still waiting and it’s been 15 min. Geez…phrase of the day “damn it’s slow here”

I gave 4 stars just because the food was cold, besides that the flavor was great, the meat was cooked perfectly . Definitely my husband and I will come back and try another plate.

Beautiful, relaxed establishment. The staff were so kind and welcoming that I wanted to review. Not to mention the best burgers near me at an affordable price.

Had to give 5 stars. I ordered the Philly Burger with Fries. The best I’ve had here in San Antonio. Every thing was fresh, large sandwich so had it for leftovers the next day, taste just as good as it did the day before. Staff were very friendly. Mine was a takeout order and I was greeted at the door. Will definitely order again. Sorry, didn’t think to take pics

I gave 4 stars because I’m not one to write reviews and dont’ want to leave a bad score after only trying this place once, however, I asked for the sauce on the side and it was on the side and on the bun (drenched). I rechecked my email to make sure I ordered sauce on the side. When I placed my order it said it would be ready in 40 minutes but was ready in 15 so my food was cold. I waited 15 minutes to leave my house and it took me 15 to get there. Took about 5 napkins to wipe the sauce off the burger and bun. Tried to toast the bun after wiping but no luck, it was too wet. I had some hot dog buns at home and was able to save the burger patty. Burger meat tasted good. I suggest get the sauce on the side and make sure it’s on the side before you leave.
