Perfect place to unwind after a beach day. Took the kids here and the food did not disappoint. Staff was friendly. Nice view of the mangroves from upper deck of the building.

We discovered this place by looking up “dog friendly” since we had our lab with us. The food was reasonably priced, especially for the big portions. They do offer beer and wine but not cocktails. They have a dock if you are coming by boat, and had lots of tables for big parties.

Food was decent. The fries were the best thing they had. Come with the expectation that you buy every single item. Fries are separate. Drinks are cans that cost wayyyy too much for a canned soda.

Nice place right on the water, close to 7 mile bridge in Marathon on the Atlantic side. We stopped by in the boat to fuel up and have lunch. The downstairs is a shop while upstairs is the open air restaurant with a small bar. Only beer and wine on the drink menu and everything is a la carte essentially. The basket of fries are hand cut and enough to feed 3 adults. The blackened Mahi Reuben was delicious, definitely a must if you like Reuben’s. My husband had a cheese burger and was able to have them cook it to his choice of medium well. All sodas and beer come in a can, but they have local craft beers which is my favorite to try. If needing a quick bite and easy in and out for boat fuel, this is a great spot to go.

We went for lunch, about a dozen folks in line… we were seated in less than 5 minutes. We had the Maui sandwich and Maui Rueben, both were excellent, good portions, tasted very fresh. Took about 10 minutes to get our food. Server VERY friendly. Fries were great, three of us shared one order. I would definitely recommend this place. They serve beer and wine, no hard booze. Great location, good view out the harbor, boat traffic passes by. A manatee swam by. Good keys feel to the place, all seating is outside, most tables are shaded.

Fantastic little hideaway recommend by the car rental company. The burgers are fabulous and probably the best French Fries we’ve ever had! Nothing fancy whatsoever but the food and service are worth the visit. Best description is “redneck yacht club”.

This was our first visit to Burdines. It’s typical Marathon atmosphere. Went went while it was overcast and rainy. It wan’t crowded. We were served quickly and we were not rushed. We had fried shrimp and mahi mahi. The fries we absolutely the best. Just as described, best fries in town. In reality the hush puppies were the quiet winner. VERY GOOD! The shrimp were good. The mahi was a little over cooked. The fried Key Lime Pie was unique and worth a try. Since this is off the beaten path, you won’t find it unless you are looking for it. Definitely worth going back and should be a regular Marathon stop.
