This was a fantastic visit. The food isn’t the cheapest, but it is some of the best. The atmosphere is casual, but very clean, comfortable and fun. Outside was incredibly pleasant with a fun view of the river.
Our server was fantastic. Happy, patient, and very helpful. Thanks, Erica! ☺️
There were tons of gluten-free options. The pizza closer to the camera is deep dish, the other is regular.

I was a bit apprehensive to try this restaurant after reading some of the recent reviews. I was worried about having poor service and long wait times. And that the pizza would have too few toppings and be burnt. But today is my sons 17th birthday and he really wanted to try the pizza, so we decided to take the hour drive to check it out. It was pretty busy but we were greeted by the hostess as soon as we walked through the door and were seated immediately. The inside of the restaurant was beautiful and cozy, but we decided to eat outside. The outdoor patio was just as pleasant and cozy, with plenty of shade and overlooking the river on one side. Our waitress, Lily, was wonderful. (Please give her a gift card/bonus/something) She came over within moments of us being seated. Our family of 4 ordered lemonade for drinks, and I asked for a blueberry margarita even though it wasn’t on the menu. She said of course and brought out the most delicious margarita I have had in awhile. We ordered the fried pickles for an appetizer and got the aoili and ranch to dip. The pickles were fresh, thick and seemed homemade, as opposed to mushy jar pickles, which we loved. We ordered chicken wings, a traditional dahlia and a traditional backyard bbq pizza as well. The pizzas were cooked perfectly. Our waitress checked in on us at least 6-7 times and everything came out hot, delicious and in a reasonable amount of time. My only complaints are that the pizzas weren’t sliced all the way through and one came out several minutes after the other so we didn’t all get to eat fully together. Even so, I would definitely recommend this place and we will be back!

Love that this place has a view of the river and cute string lights on the patio. The pizza and garlic bread were yummy but wish the hot honey topping actually had some spice to it. It tasted like plain honey and threw off the taste of the pizza. The bar tender didnt serve us the 15 minutes we were at the bar and didnt get to order a pre dinner drink like we wanted. Our waitress was rude at first but got a tiny better throughout our meal.

OMG, the Asian Peanut butter sauce GF chicken strips are OH my goodness so good. Took a min to get sat, but with strips like that I mean.. we tried a smorgasbord of things. The only thing I didn’t care for was the sweeter pizza sauce, I like mine more garlicy and robust. Emphasis on how you want your burger cooked, our son wasn’t ready for a pink burger. Service was Great and the atmosphere was chill, which I loved. Plates are about 20 bucks a pop. Great job guys DEFINITELY RECOMMEND STOPPING IN FOR A BITE

To go or not to go: GO GO!!!! This place had the best pizza ever plus the ample outside seating overlooking the river was to die for. When we went just recently it was a lovely cool day and we just lingered at the lovely outside patio over beer, salad and the best pizza. The service was stellar. The pizza crust perfect, nothing was greasy and it was all fresh. I totally made up my own pizza with pears, fire roasted mushrooms, balsamic drizzle etc etc. My husband had a delicious pepperoni pizza. I had the smaller 8” pizza but it comes in three different sizes. My husband ate his whole huge pizza! The inside has great seating also. We came back again towards the end of our trip so that should tell you how good it was. This little town is tiny but totally worth it to make a trip to get the divine pizza!!

I tried the new Chicken Marsala dish. It was absolutely delicious! The sauce was very light, but just the right amount of flavor. The Cajun wings were amazing! I recommend it to everyone!

Very cute and rustic spot. We ordered a bunch of food and they were able to accommodate all of us. They even made me a vegan pickle pizza, which was amazing by the way. Very great spot!

Food was good but service was not. Quiet area with a very nice intimate outdoor dining area. We waited while several waitresses bustled about the sparsely occupied bar, busily ignoring us. We know this because of their mundane conversation while they did it. Kitchen staff was on point – 20 minutes and we were eating, and while we were asked once if everything was okay, no one offered to refresh our drinks or bring a box for the leftovers or the check until we asked. I recommend you get the pizza yo go and eat itin your car.

Two thumbs WAY UP!
This Wood-Fired pizzeria has excellent food and a great atmosphere! Prices are reasonable and the staff is super friendly and fun.
We chose to eat out on the patio with fires turned on for us and a great view of the Kennebec River lazily flowing by.
We started with the bone-in wings tossed in their signature peanut butter sweet chili sauce topped with bacon pieces. It was really good reminding me of a Thai recipe. I would have preferred more heat; perhaps some cayenne. It was really good, though.
Then we had a simple pepperoni pizza. They had some really attractive choices, but my wife and bestest traveling buddy likes pepperoni. However, this pepperoni pizza was really excellent! The crust was perfect with the smoky flavor. It had the right amount of cheese with flavorful pepperoni. I highly recommend it.
The staff was fun to engage and seemed to be enjoying themselves as well.
My wife’s comment when we were enjoying the sights and pizza… “Everyone should get a chance to eat here.”
