I don’t have much time during the trip. I decided to make a quick stop here. The lobster roll was tasty but it was a little bit too pricey. The scenery was incredible I am really enjoying while waiting for my food. Don’t forget to say hello to “Brownie” she is very naughty dog

Nice little restaurant on the Piscataqua River with a nice view. Plenty of outside seating. The server was friendly. The food was very good. The lobster roll was tasty but I think was pricey at $55. The potato chips had a nice crisp. I would recommend for a nice lunch on the water.

Really great spot to enjoy fresh seafood and the ambiance of Portsmouth Harbor. Buoy Shack blends great food, friendly staff, and the added advantage of an incredible location. If you’re looking for a spot on your travels that offers a nostalgic experience, this is it. **Heaters on the open deck area were very comfortable

The food was just okay but the service was great. Our waiter was super nice. Four of us ate. We got a 6oz lobster roll with a side of bisque, a small bowl of lobster bisque (they had bread bowls on the menu but said they were out) so a small pack of crackers was served with it, a lobster BLT with fries, a lobster grilled cheese with fries, 3 ice waters with lemon and 1 coke. Our total was $155. We were traveling and stopped to grab lunch. It was okay but definitely wouldn’t go again.

Its was excellent! And loved the house made chips and caramelized onion dip. And the French fries were great too! We got to see the bridge rise for boats to go under which was a bonus.

We came upon this gem by chance on our way north to Portland and were blessed to find the best lobster roll of my life. Costly, perhaps, 6oz for $55, however fresh, succulent doesn’t cover it, so so unbelievably phenomenal, so for me, it was worth it. If you are a fan of simple, cold, lobster that has the slightest bit of a light watered down (in a good way)mayo; you can’t even call it mayo, it’s so translucent and light, with nothing else, no celery, no lettuce, just a warm buttered bun, then run here

Enjoyed the views of water and boats. There’s limited parking and enough benches/ seats with umbrellas for sun protection. The lobster and crab rolls were delicious and fresh. You can grab your own take away boxes if necessary and ice water is self serve. Loved the atmosphere.

We do an annual lobster roll crawl in Maine. We had already scored previously at Pine Tree, our new fav in Scarborough. Yesterday we had a lovely roll at Buoy. This cutie pie spot was so fun. We arrived 11:40 and there was ample seating. Our server was A+ wonderful. We had the lobster BLT which my daughter loved and my 3 ounce roll was perfect. I asked for drawn butter on the side but they forgot. No worries, I didn’t need it thanks to a crispy buttery brioche roll. I’d have loved 4 ounces but it was heaven. 28.00 plus tax and tip for a great roll. The views are lovely too.

It was a beautiful day for a mother’s day lunch on the water. The staff (which seemed under staffed) was decent and friendly. The food was super greasy yet tasted ok. We made the best of it and enjoyed the scenes and sunny weather.
