We ate a lunch/dinner around 3:30, so there weren’t many other people there. The inside was nice. It’s right on the beach, so the view was nice, and it has an outdoor seating area to enjoy the ocean. Our server seemed liked she was rushing us even though there was nobody there, and I don’t think she refilled anyone’s glass of water the entire time we were there. She just seemed like she wanted to be at our table as little as possible. Everyone’s meals were pretty tasty except mine. I had the Baja fish tacos and the fish didn’t taste fresh and was super salty. I only ate one. The coleslaw was good, though. They definitely could use some improvements, but we’ll probably try it again sometime eventually.

Buoy 44 is definitely a local favorite and a fun spot right on the bay in Chic’s Beach. The view is wonderful, especially around sunset, and it has that laid-back, coastal vibe that keeps people coming back.

The food and drinks are good, the service is great, and it’s really just a good time. I wouldn’t expect the best food in the world, but honestly, you can’t beat the setting, the atmosphere, and the overall experience.

If you want a true local spot with great views and good vibes, Buoy 44 is a solid choice.

This place was great! The food was really good and of course the view was excellent! The parking directly in front of the restaurant was limited and we had to find street parking a few streets down with a quick walk. We ate on the outdoor deck and during the lunch service they had some large fans which were turned on to help with the heat. Overall I’d love to come back here!

My husband, our daughter, and myself enjoyed our lunch. Our server was wonderful. Our food arrived quickly, and tasted good. I got the shrimp tacos(pictured), and my husband got the fish tacos. Our daughter got the Caesar salad. My tacos came with lots of shrimp. I would definitely recommend this place, even though we are not a fan of valet parking.

The spot is right on the beach and has awesome patio seating. The food, not so much. The presentation of the food is great but the food could use more flavor and not stuff everything with “sandwich fillers”(lettuce…that’s it).I see this place as a “hey let’s grab some drinks” or “I need food”. The crab dip is mostly just cream cheese. The sweet potato fries were probably the best on the menu, the rest was just median.

Great service, yummy food, patio pet friendly, with a great variety on the menu to choose from! The hush puppies were very delicious, she crab soup was a bit on the salty side, fish tacos had a great combination of flavor, and the waffle fries had a bit of grease soaked into them. Overall everything was good, would come back!

This was my first time here. Food , service ,& drinks were good. My biggest issue that kept me from giving them 5 stars, they charge you the 4% fee the credo cars company charges them to use your debit/ CC. Had I known this from the get go I would have paid in cash. I asked 3 people if there was a sign posted stated they charge the fee and 2 waitresses and a hostess told me they didn’t know. The hostess said that pretty much everywhere charges this fee. Ummmm no they don’t! My husband found the sign on the way out the door on the end of the bar with 2 other signs. The sign read they are implementing by a small 4% fee to help offset the fee the CC company charges. That’s not a small fee I am pretty sure that is the whole fee. Years ago a store would have never thought about charging this to the consumer to off this convince! Anyway, the sign really needs to be place in a more obvious place( like maybe on the door) and maybe your staff can advise of this before taking the card. All in all everything was good but I will think twice before visiting an establishment that charges me for the conscience of using my debit card.

Went for a retirement party, and despite the crowd size service was still top notch and the food service was pretty quality despite them doing it buffet style for the event. Many places have great table service and poor cater style events and this place handled it well in both quality and keeping the food hot and available

Last night the Hostess was awful. The bartender was losing her mind, avoiding eye contact while we sat right in front of her. After 30 minutes, I finally got a glass of wine, and when I tried to order more, she ignored me while serving people next to us, refusing to acknowledge me the rest of the hour we waited for our table. The hostess completely ignored the waitlist, seating others outside even though she took our name and number. The bartender kept yelling at customers to go to the other bar. We got there at 5, left at 6:30, and went to HK on the Bay. So rude and completely disregarded.

This is a very cute beach-side restaurant! Great views of the sunset, and their crushes are awesome (especially the key lime). The nachos are also a tasty appetizer, but, as a whole, I found that there was very little seasoning on any of their food (aside from their chips, which were way too salty) and the fried flounder was a bit soggy. Overall, I’d come back here and get drinks with some appetizers, but probably not for their entrees.
