I don’t think the owner cares enough to respond to the reviews, but I’ll post here for other patrons to know what to expect. You pay for high-end cuisine( over $200 for 2 people), but before you enter, you’ll see a few broken flower boxes, a broken screen off the window, a broken menu sign out front, and a light on the sidewalk that’s broken laying on the walkway. There’s not much room to move around inside because the tables are set up too close. The food was good, but they don’t use warm plates, so it gets cold quickly. Our waiter was quite different; he handed us a check but just peeked out to see if we had left, without even bothering to come back. Overall, it was a 2.5-star experience for this place – just to check it out, but not good enough to return.

Our party had made reservations online but the restaurant never received them. However they very nicely accommodated up. Much appreciated! We were seated upstairs and everyone in the party was able to climb the stairs although it was hard for some. Our server came over quickly and was knowledgeable and helpful. After we ordered however we waited quite a while for our food while tables that came in after us received their meals. No explanation was offered. However when the food finally came it was delicious! Everyone enjoyed their meal although one guess said her dish was only warm, not hot. The room was extremely noisy making it hard to converse and restrooms were limited with one out of order. Overall we all agreed we would go back due to the excellent food and friendly if not particularly efficient staff.

This is our go-to celebration BYOB spot in the area! Fine Italian dining, great service and cozy decor. On weekends and holidays the place is always packed and we always make reservations. We are generally seated immediately or a short wait. Love walking into the buzz and hum of happy customers and the aroma of yummy food! The lobster ravioli special is was amazing. The creamy pesto sauce is light, whipped and perfect for dipping extra bread! Service is attentive and friendly. Food is served hot and fresh.

Excellent meal! I ordered the lobster ravioli which was delicious, and everyone else in our party was satisfied with their meal. My only complaint was the eggplant appetizer we ordered was very skimpy for the price they were charging. We only received two small pieces of eggplant for our table of 5. Besides this, everything was good and our desserts were especially delicious-Cannoli was one of the top I have ever had. Would recommend if you are looking for a good meal near OCNJ.

My mother and I (Italians visiting from Rhode Island) LOVED our meal here. Had the clams in red sauce for an appetizer, fettuccine with crab and branzino for entrees. Food was very garlicky which was just fine with us! Waitress was super nice and helpful with suggestions on what people visiting from out of town should try. Would 100 percent go back. Hungry for a visit just writing this review.

Called to make a reservation and the man on the phone was not friendly in assisting. When we arrived I told them our name and they said there wasn’t a reservation under our name. The middle aged hostess who seems like the owner then made us feel guilty about the reservation not going through/being written down. I saw someone else review of the same woman. When we got seated our waiter made us feel very uncomfortable when we politely said we were good without having wine. He made a rather passive comment about us not drinking alcohol that was uncalled for and made us feel awkward. He then didn’t offer any other drinks for us. We also didn’t get silverware or napkins until we asked. The food was outstanding however. We got penne vodka and fettuccini alfredo. At the end we waited 20 minutes for him to bring us our check. Then we waited another 10 for him to come pick it up. The place itself was very pretty and nice but the people, even the guests eating too were judgmental and entitled. Although the food was great we would not go back. I would not recommend

Great food. Authentic Italian cuisine. Great service; the staff is always friendly and everything comes out relatively quickly. The only drawbacks are the parking (good luck on a busy night) and the noise (you often have to shout to be heard because of how sound seems to be amplified there).

645 reservation made online Valentine’s Day weekend on a Saturday. Sat at 645. Lights were pretty bright and seats were close but I felt it fit the theme.
Classic Italian along with some seafood classics. Lobster ravioli was hot tasty and filling! BYOB so make sure to bring plenty of wine!
For the price I would’ve expected a bit more intimate experience and not sat on top of each other.

I took my wife here for our little getaway, food was excellent and what most people recommended was the lobster ravioli it was delicious, the service was great, amazing coffee and a very nice setting. The only things i would say is that i wish they had a little music playing in the bavk ground to drown all of the conversations that were happening around us, we could here everyones convo and it was very distracting and annoying, also we felt it was over crowded. I recommend making reservations or you’ll be waiting for a bit.

Charming old school Italian place. The staff is very understanding, I gave an extra star for them because they’re nice. This is BYOB so definitely bring a bottle of wine , if it’s white wine they’ll give you an ice bucket. We started with the Calamari and an order of lobster ravioli which was a special. Definitely get the lobster ravioli if it’s on the menu. I thought it was better than the Calamari and seemed to have large chunks of crabmeat or lobster on top with a tasty sauce. For main I got the stuffed tilapia but my Mom got the Branzino and that was definitely better so I’d get that next time. Tiramisu was light and airy and was better than that chocolate ice cream sphere thing . I’d skip that next time. I would like to come back here next year and try some different dishes . Pretty good and laid back . They have their own parking lot.
