I tried a pickled beet salad and a gnocchi with mushrooms in a creamy sauce. Both dishes were tasty; the pickled beets were on the sour side. The pasta came in a smaller portion, but the creamy sauce made it quite filling. It’s a beautiful restaurant, and my server was very polite and pleasant to talk to.

My family of 27 celebrated Christmas Eve in a private room on the 2nd floor of the restaurant. It was simply amazing! Excellent food- customized to our wishes for the traditional fish- and prepared beautifully. The room was roomy yet cozy and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. We had 10 children in attendance and the wait staff were completely unflustered. The family returned to my house afterwards for dessert and presents, but it was a treat not to have to plan and execute a sit down dinner for that many people. Would definitely use this restaurant again for future events!

This Thanksgiving, my family and I decided to have dinner at Buona Via, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we’ve made for the holiday. We’ve dined here in previous years, but this time was truly something special. The food quality has improved so much under the new ownership, and every dish exceeded our expectations. From the perfectly cooked turkey to the flavorful sides and decadent desserts, everything was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. You could tell there was real attention to detail and a focus on quality.
What really stood out, aside from the amazing food, was the atmosphere. The staff was incredible—so warm, friendly, and attentive to every need. They truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. It made the entire experience feel not just like a meal, but a celebration.
Buona Via has definitely set a new standard for our holiday dining, and I’m already looking forward to our next visit. Whether it’s a special occasion or just a night out, this restaurant is an absolute gem. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for fantastic food, exceptional service, and a wonderful dining experience.

The food was tasty and the service was very good. For appetizers we had the calamari & meatballs both excellent. My husband enjoyed the chicken parmigiana and I enjoyed the 12oz NY Strip with mushroom gravy. Dessert was good, but overpriced. But overall we enjoyed our meal. I would recommend this restaurant and will definitely return.

Your experience will definitely depend on how your server feels at that time. Was there on New Year’s Eve. Had a fantastic time. Brought a different guest two weeks later, got sat at the Bar, ended up with the same waitress as my last visit. She spent so much time on her phone she kept forgetting that we were there. Less than 10 people at the bar with multiple people behind the bar. The last visit was a little embarrassing since I talked up my previous experience and brought someone to experience what I had just a few weeks before. Smh…

With so many Italian restaurants available finding keepers is a must. Not that I’m opposed to the challenge but… finding comfort in knowing you’ll not be disappointed is the reward for trying. The food was perfect for my party of four, all different entrees. Service was excellent, never a wait, always on top of our tables needs. Atmosphere was comfortable and very Italian. My Bolognese was one of the best I’ve had.

We went there as a whole family for lunch. The food was OK, nothing to write home about. I would say average Italian food. I ordered the chicken Parm, I’ve had better. The servers were nice. One of them was super messy and kept over pouring water and came around to sprinkle cheese and got the cheese all over our cell phones. The atmosphere was very nice, it was not busy at all at the time we were there. Probably would not go back to this restaurant.

We have been passing by this place for a few years and decided to give it a shot tonight.
They have a happy hour that goes until 6:30, looking over the menu we decided to try some food specials. The drink special is less than special where a miller lite draft beer is discounted to $5.
We ordered two flat breads, truffle fries, and meatballs. They were delivered in a timely fashion but with the lack of patrons it should not have taken any longer.
The truffle fries are thin, physically similar to what you would see at McDonald’s. The fries were overly seasoned and quite salty.
The flatbread were more doughy than encountered at other restaurants but visually looked appetizing. Tasting, well…the word bland never exited my mind. I ended up eating the truffle fries every so often just to taste something.
The meatballs, meh. Lots of filler, gave us the impression of something that was frozen layered with sauce that didn’t impress.
Saving grace, they are open on Monday where most places are closed.
