This is definitely is not gold crown pizza. The crust is disgusting. I believe it’s just a commercial brand of crust., Not homemade. The sauce is different and maybe the cheese is the same.
$12 for a small round pie and $24 for a small round pie With four toppings. The four toppings were literally just tossed in a pile on the top of the pie, Very little flavor at all.

I called on a Sunday and they were closing. I ordered a tray of pizza and they still made it and delivered it to my house. I was laid up with a cast on my leg. They delivered it , the owner did personally and the pizza was to die for. I ordered the Gold Crown and it tasted like it Did thirty five years ago when I was a youngster going there with my dad, it was absolutely delicious.

Ordered a regular Buona pie and a Gold Crown pie. I received an overcooked, reheated Buona pizza and a screaming hot undercooked GoldCrown pizza with no flavor and gritty cheese. This was my third time trying it since it re-opened. First time it was ok, second time I asked for a Stromboli and received a calzone, then this.

Worst customer service experience. Ordered a large Buona pizza with half pepperoni and 2 orders of garlic knots. When I picked up order the guy starts complaining to me about my get my perks voucher. How they wouldn’t honor it in a Friday blah blah blah. It doesn’t say that on the voucher and why complain to the customer! Ended up getting a pizza without pepperoni! Go figure

My family started this place… My aunt Eleanor (Amendalaro, King Joe, etc). The recipe for the pizza was part of the sale (I may be wrong about specifics). It’s still a great bar pie. But not even close to what it was when my family owned it. I don’t know what’s going on, maybe they changed ovens or tweaked the recipe… Hopefully they can get back to the original pizza we made. Glad to hear they have a great steak and cheese. Come on guys, you can do better…
