One of the trio of well known beef sandwich chains in the chicago area. Buona has a fanatic group of followers even if Portillo’s is the best known of the three. We did enjoy our food here. Buona is probably the best at describing the different levels of juice on a sandwich.

I first want to address that when we came in an unreasonable customer was screaming and arguing with the register staff.
The Buona crew was respectful and sincerely trying to help resolve the issue, but the customer was irrational and immovable. The customer was very nasty to everyone.
We love the chopped salad- husband gets very nice cubes of white meat chicken, while I get avocado in mine.
The chocolate shakes are great as well- especially Thursday when they are reduced if you are a Buona Club member.
We love the beef as well!

Today I met Teri and she was the absolute best! I think I like the Bolingbrook location the best:). I tried it for the first time. Teri was patient, knowledgeable, kind and just super all the way around. She definitely was the top reason I had a great experience. And food was really good today as well!

Had one of many great experiences here at the Bolingbrook location today. Very clean restaurant. Food was excellent and the chefs paid very good attention to detail with my order. For some reason menu items taste better at this location than others. So good that I’ve also cut out competitors like Portillos. Definitely recommend to anyone that values quality food at an affordable price. Check out their app too for some great deals. Also the manager and workers have great customer service. Thank you for making my meal extremely enjoyable! The ice cream is super fire too!

My last visit to Buona Beef was amazing! I ordered the cheeseburger special with fries, and everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The burger was seasoned perfectly and the fries were crispy — exactly what you hope for when you’re craving something good.
I also tried the pecan sundae, and let me tell you… absolutely amazing. Sweet, crunchy, and the perfect way to end the meal.

I really like their food, and burgers are awesome. But it’s really not hard to read what says on the order. I specifically wrote no croutons and to add tomato and I got order with apparently extra croutons with no tomato whatsoever. Is it really that hard to read?!

The manager was so helpful with my catering pick up order. I picked up my beef and peppers for a party I am having on Saturday. He offered to have me wait to pick up my rolls on Saturday morning so they would be fresher and took all of my information so I could send someone through the drive up. Thank you for the great service.

I didn’t get the managers name but BIG S/O to him and his crew. Special S/O to Peter and Gloria they made my experience great. I travel for work so I eat out a lot and it was great customer service 10/10. I would go out of my way for the experience I had today.
