I don’t know how Buon Appetito has under a 4.0 rating. Its got great sandwiches, great Italian food, and the best New York style pizza slices in the area. Prices are good, too. If you’re on your way home and craving a slice, stop here. You won’t regret it.

Takeout is a huge pain, multiple instances where the food was not ready on time. Including where they marked the order “ready for pickup”, later than the original ETA, and I still had to wait 30 minutes in-store after arriving while they prepared it.

Great place for Italian food. Very generous portions and the meatballs are just like how my husbands mom made. This picture was taken after I already ate from it. Leftovers for several meals.

I ordered food from this place, said it would deliver in 60-70 minutes. I waited all night and never got my food. Called the phone number of the restaurant 6 times, didn’t answer once. Stole $30 of my money. Shitty service and overpriced, especially if you’re not planning to even deliver it.

Delivery guy probably ate my food. Waited and waited, called them said 1 min. Called again said 5 mins. 5 mins later no one. Ordered had to be cancelled by grubhub. (They manage their own delivery in house so this review is very much about them). Will also add the person on the phone was RUDE did not care about the delivery or the food.

Very generous servings and the food is really good. Wraps are very neat and have a nice structure to them. Pasta with meatballs immediately calls for a take out container.

We have been ordering delivery one day a week for at least 6 months now. Their food is consistently very good. Delivers on time always in 45 mins or less. Their grilled and breaded chicken are both absolutely stellar. Always tender and sliced perfectly. Their rigatoni pasta is very good with red sauce and vodka sauce. Their chicken Caesar salad is also very good. This is the best little local Italian in jersey city!
