This food truck serves up one of the best smash burgers and phillies in town. I tried their BOTR burger and the botr cheese steak, and each one offered immense flavor. I also tried the mango margarita and that was a pleasant and refreshing drink. Not only the food was great, but the service was phenomenal. One of the best customer service i personally received. Definitely will be looking forward to eating here again if I come back to Austin.

If anyone ever calls up to ask for a nice place to eat. My first reference is always Buns on the run. If anyone is visting out of town/country. We definitely take them to Buns on the run. The food, service and ambience is all top notch . Plus, they serve only hand slaughtered chicken and beef so thats a big plus for us coz it’s hard to find restaurants serving hand slaughtered halal meat.
Would definitely recommend loaded fries, the spicy chicken burger and BOTR chicken cheesesteak!
The service is top notch and always ready on time.
The only sad part is it’s open just for few days 🙁

Hoping to see it grow and continuing to maintain their top service and quality food.

Buns on the Run ATX never misses. Their BOTR hot dog is my all time favorite and I get it every time. I’ve also tried the chicken cheesesteak and the beef cheesesteak, and both were honestly phenomenal. The fries are always crispy and hit the spot. The fact that everything is halal makes it even better. Everything I’ve had from them tastes incredible. One of the best food spots in ATX for sure.

Tried their smash burger — and wow, it was absolutely delicious! The patty was perfectly seasoned, juicy without being greasy, and had that amazing crispy edge that makes a great smash burger stand out. The bun was soft and fresh, holding everything together without getting soggy. Every bite was full of flavor and perfectly balanced.

The service was friendly, and you can really tell they care about quality. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from their menu!

They have the best burgers in town!!! Love the sauce they add. My favorite is the the BOTR Smash burger always done perfect! And the owners and staff are super friendly and attentive. If you are ever in the area give them a try you will never be disappointed. Always support local!! And big plus they won recognition for the city for best burger in town 2025! So don’t just take my word for it, the city has chosen!!

Saleha and her husband are pumping amazing food out of this truck. The quality, the flavor, the service-unmatched! Their smash burgers are the best I’ve had. The lace is *chefs kiss* and all their food is Halal! We’ve eaten there probably 6 times and I always forget to write a review ‍♀️ but it’s their 2 year anniversary today and I’m on my way to get my order and I finally remembered lol we usually get the Hulk Smash, spicy cheesesteak and an order of fries. We absolutely LOVE this place! I’m very picky with fast food, but I would eat this burger any day, the meat is delicious and the proportions are perfect. We also love their BOTR fries and cheesesteak! The kids meals are always a hit with the kids we bring and the owners are the sweetest people. If you haven’t tried them yet, you definitely should!

I think I’ve stumbled upon the best burger restaurant on this side of town. I tried the cheeseburger and fries combo, and I wasn’t planning on dining in, but they have this really nice, well lit patio, and it was hard to pass up. The cheeseburger was just amazing. I could feel the flavor with every bite. The patty was soft and well cooked, and the buns were fresh. I’m definitely coming back for more. Kudos to the couple who run “buns on the run”. Their food is amazing, and the service is even better. #halal
