Great food, great service. The restaurant has a charming atmosphere and a very friendly wait staff. Tried the knife and fork burger and was pleasantly surprised at how delicious it is for a plain burger. The fries are extra but they’re well worth it. I’ll definitely be coming back

Really cool place and atmosphere. Had the prime brisket, the meat was tender and flavorful, but it felt like there were too many flavors at the same time with the poached egg, the mushroom, onion, crispy onions and the red wine sauce. The corn fritters are REALLY good too.

Great food. Global inspired cuisine with a nice bread selection (the owners are french). Decently price so I like to eat there with dates without sweating when the bill comes at the end. Great value and great quality, highly recommended.

It’s difficult to label this restaurant located in front of the Sunset Mall. They offer Asian-inspired dishes, hamburgers and fish, among other things. For some strange reason, they do not promote their burgers which are considered one of the best of the area by some locals. They have outdoor seating facing the street for those who love this kind of environment. It’s a good option for cool evenings, while you enjoy and savor a glass of wine.

I’ll begin saying that we are definitely going back to try their burgers. After all, that’s what they are supposed to be doing well. That said, last night we were there for the first time and wanted to write a review, even though we didn’t eat much.
It’s a phenomenally great atmosphere with super friendly staff. Kudos to the decor consultant–so tastefully and cleverly done! The food sounded better than it actually tasted. My wife and I had appetizers here last night. We ordered the spinach poufs, chicken tenders for our little girl, and a side of fries. The spinach poufs were a bit dense, lacking flavor and seasoning; the tahini sauce to go with the poufs was ok; the chives were dry (not dried), which didn’t give the poufs that extra freshness they desperately needed. The fries were perfectly crispy, but the “herbs” on them were pathetically old. Our daughter’s chicken tenders tasted like fast food restaurant strips or nuggets–no depth of flavor, no texture variance in the batter.
The red house wine was bad (CS). They served it in a glass that was not tasting-friendly; I couldn’t swirl it. It was warm, lacked body, and had zero complexity. Not the type of red wine I would expect a place like this to serve to go with their burgers. It could really break the whole experience, at least for a wine lover like me.
Like I said, to be fair, we have to go back to try their burgers. I’ll post again after that try.

Great, meticulously prepared food, with no distractions. The food stands alone and the sandwiches are extremely flavorful served on what seems to be house-made bread. Paired with a beer on the outside patio in front of sunset place, this restaurant provides a great experience.

The place, food and service are all EXCELLENT! It’s a completely different concept from most, if not all, of the places in South Miami… Some people will ‘GET IT’ and others, like the 2 ONE STAR reviewers below me, WON’T… It’s not for everyone. If you enjoy delicious food and are all about going out to relax and enjoy a great meal, this place is definitely a MUST… If you’re in a rush and can’t wait 10-15 minutes for your meal and complain about paying $9+ p/ person for quality food, than you should probably go check out Wendy’s or some other fast food place nearby, this is NOT the place for you.
MUST HAVES: The “Knife and Fork” burger (I’m guessing they call it that to suggest that you eat it that way, because it gets little messy eating it with your hands), Pork Belly w/ steamed buns, Chicken Thigh w/ black bean sauce (try it with the cheese naan) and for dessert the Bread Pudding… These would be my top choices, but everything is really good— trust me, I’ve tried everything on the menu!
