This is barbecue at its finest. Moist but not overly sauced. Just the right amount of delicious East Carolina flavor. The slaw is unique vinegar sweet and totally compliments the Que. They also serve amazing baked corn bread that perfectly compliments your meal in this 1920s filling station. Can’t wait for more.

When traveling through Windsor , you have to stop and eat here. Russ , one of the owners was very helpful. Our son was getting married and we had Bunns BBQ cater the food. We had Pork , beans and slaw , everything was very good.
Russ not only gave us a fair price but he delivered the food to the venue for us.

Decent food, reasonably priced. The staff was friendly. We got our orders to go, and maybe we forgot to get sauce, but the bbq seemed like it needed something. The slaw was very good, but the corn bread was like none I’ve had before; it reminded me of a potato pancake more than corn bread (ok I’m from Wisconsin, maybe our corn bread is different than that from the Carolinas).

A favorite stop of ours when near Windsor for over 30 years; authentic northeastern style BBQ in a unique setting. The servers treat you like family, asking about children, grandchildren, etc. Not only to we ‘belly up” to the counter, but always take BBQ & slaw home for later. This is a MUST stop for you and your family and friends.
