Family owned and operated restaurant. We have a wide selection on our food menu. We offer home cooked specials on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday’s. We have several flat screen tv’s to watch live games and listen to music, we also have a game room that includes two pool tables, claw machines, and quarter machine. Pool tournaments in the near future. Hoping by spring we will have a smoker for BBQ and free cornhole. Come on out and get dinner at one of the very few sit down restaurant’s in War, WV.

Been wanting to try this new local restaurant. So today we call and make sure there open. Yes the lady yes till 8. Great we get there the girl working could have cared less that we walked in. She continued to talk to the customers (granted there where 2 in the restaurant) that already had their food. Never once said hello can I get ya anything menus, drinks, etc. So after waiting over five mins. Told her have a good evening will spend our money elsewhere. Customer service is KEY if ya continue business.!

Unbelievably great food! Was riding in the mountains and decided to come into War for some food. Stopped in and got the Chili Cheese Fires, Double Bacon Cheeseburger, and (yes for real) the Pulled Pork BBQ sandwich. All three were top notch. Great sweat tea to top it off. Definitely a place to stop in and eat.

Group had breakfast there and we ran out of food and waited for more to be cooked. I would not recommend for large groups. Single dining would probably be much better. Friendly staff

Bunky’s is great! We had a chance to chat with the owners Tim and Tina this past weekend. They’re wonderful folks and great hosts. The food is delicious, quick, and reasonably priced. I’ll be back soon!
