This is a wonderful restaurant to enjoy while visiting the Maine coast!
It’s beautifully decorated inside and out with the local flair of the lobster trade.
The view out the windows is breathtaking, while the food and service are just as impressive.
We had a small party and started with tasty fried calamari and cheese curds.
Local Bangor Beer’s Disco Sasquatch and Orono Brewing’s Wicked Blueberry Ale were wonderful, along with Blueberry Soda.
3 of us had the delicious Lobster Rolls because it was our first visit to Maine, and that was a “requirement”, lol.
The others had the steak and cheese sandwich and the fried haddock meals. They were wonderful too.
Our server, Ceanna, took fantastic care of all of us, and deserves a raise.
I even made sure to buy a t shirt before I left.
We will surely be back when we return to this heavenly place on earth.

Stumbled on Bunker’s after a hike on the Schoodic portion of Acadia National Park. What a great find! Bright, comfortable dining room and exceptional food. I had the clam roll – super fresh clams in a light, well seasoned batter – on a butter grilled roll – heaven! Upgraded to onion rings – just do it – they were even better than the delicious clam roll. Very tasty Cole slaw and (I would bet) homemade tartar sauce rounded out an absolutely perfect meal. Tried and really like an Athletic Brewing Upside Dawn N/A. Service was fast friendly and ideally attentive – can’t wait until I’m back that way to eat here again!

A great little place to have some seafood. The oysters were delicious! Good beer selection. The lobster and crab rolls were generously portioned and we capped the meal off with a blueberry pie. Friendly fast service to top off the experience. It is a good representation of the Maine seafood restaurant.

I LOVE Bunker’s! The seafood is always so delicious and fresh. The drinks are great, and I really enjoy the view from the dining room. The crew is kind and they create a lovely down-home feel to the establishment. I stop here often for a snack after photographing sessions in the Park nearby. Definitely a local favorite for me.

This is the type of restaurant I think of when I think of coastal Maine. Classic decor and right on the water. Food was great! Large portions and a reasonable price.

Food was great. 2 lobster dinners that were perfect. Blueberry pie and our server Nikki was so good. Friendly and full of info for our questions. Bunkers is a cool local dive with great food and atmosphere on Birch Harbor on the way back from Schoodic. Give it a try. You won’t be disturbed!

The waitress was very pleasant. The food was fantastic, we’ve eaten at several places during our visit to Acadia and this by far was the best. Serving sizes were generous and reasonably priced for what we had. I had shrimp and scallops, the shrimp were small but perfectly. The scallops were full size and also cooked perfectly.
My husband has the fried haddock, he enjoyed it very much.
If this was not our last day in Maine we would be back again this week. We will definitely be hyere our next trip here.
We sat outside and the view was lovely.

This place is a hidden gem. The food was delicious, the service was great and the atmosphere is very harbor! We had the lobster salad, haddock dinner, bad penny sandwich and fried clams. We also had fried cheese curds for appetizer and blueberry pie. Everything was delicious!! It was a bit pricey, but worth it I think.
