Quirky and fun, this place is excellent for chilling out with friends or family and having a couple brewskis accompanied with flavourful food!

The meal deal for 4 was plenty of scran (almost too much for 3) and well worth the money. The beers were great, very odd flavours (I got the coriander beer) though very much quenched my thirst.

Staff were chatty and very helpful (especially when questioning the odd beers). You need to order from the bar which made getting served very easy. The place was massive and had loads of tables best for large groups. Thankfully it was quiet the day we went so got in and sat down lickity split.

Heavily recommend for a wee night out with a big group, has a lovely vibe and is very well decorated inside.

Thanks for a lovely experience. Cheers 🙂

Came here with work colleagues for dinner and it was a good experience. They have a wide and interesting variety of small plates, all vegetarian. I got the paneer tikka and the cucumber salad and really liked them. I found the plates to be small but good in quantity, and the price was okay. I will recommend it for a casual meal.

The restaurant is located in the basement and serves fully vegan food. I can’t say it’s bad, but it didn’t really impress me either.

I’m a big fan of traditional South Asian food, especially meat dishes, so this place wasn’t quite to my taste. That said, the fried okra was excellent, and the rest of the food was decent overall.

My vegan friends absolutely loved it, and I can see why …it’s a great spot for vegans. For me personally, though, it wasn’t somewhere I’d be excited to revisit.

Been a favourite of for about 8 years. I can’t speak highly enough of this place. The food is delicious, the fusion dishes are imaginative and unique and the beer is delicious. Most recently we had the valentine’s special, delicious and incredible value. It goes without saying we’ll be back.

Amazing vegetarian Indian street food. Went for lunch and had a great selection of dishes to share. All were tasty especially the chaat and cauliflower ‘prawn’ toast.

Cool place for some Indian fare in central Manchester. The staff is very welcoming but the place can get pretty busy.

The menu is broad enough to have a wide range of choices and the quality and flavour of the food is good but lacks a little bit of character for me to call it best.

Portion sizes are average as is the value.

Bundobust feels like a hidden bar
Located just minutes from Piccadilly Gardens, all you see is a doorway…
Head down the stairs and you are greeted by someone friendly that confirms your reservation and depending on when you go will let you pick a booth or table

If you like spicy street food, and a wide selection of taps – then you’re in the right place.

Peruse the menu, then head to the bar to order (Nando’s style) which is a great way to check out the array of beers and ciders on tap.
It’s also super easy to avoid bill splitting as everyone pays for their own food and drinks.

Food is delivered to your table and depending on where you sit you can watch the chef’s at work.

During busy times – you will likely share your table with others – u less you get a booth.

The food is spicy, with a slow burn the builds up gradually so you can actually taste the flavours

My order:
Pain puri
Paneer kebabs
Gobi Manchurian
Plain rice
House masala chai

Way more than I was able to finish
And at £27 I feel like it was great value for tasty food served hot

Staff work
Hard here

Visited on Tuesday night at 6:30pm so it wasn’t heaving, yet every table and booth was occupied

Highly recommend booking in advance

Second time at bundobust now and both times really enjoyed it. Had the combo for 2 and then added on some okra fries and the burger (vad pad I think?) all the dishes were great and the combo is perfect to try a bit of everything! Great beer selection also!

Amazing value for an extremely tasty meal!! A solo traveller coming up from London, I managed to still qualify for the lunch deal @3.30pm (£11.95 12- 4 pm). This was just what I needed and albeit vegetarian (would have opted for chicken) it was incredibly tasty and satisfying. Loved the twists on the usual dishes, the selection of IPA’s were not only tasty but very complimentary to the meal and the staff are friendly and very helpful. Due to the time of day I had no trouble getting a table and it was relatively quiet with a few early Xmas party groups in – imagine this becomes a complete thriving hub later on in the evenings and is an incredibly popular spot.

The staff was kind and friendly, the atmosphere was nice even in the middle of the afternoon and the food was stellar, bold but harmoniouss flavours. The only suggestion I have is to have the menu at the bar (you have to order there) so the guests dont have to take the menu with them to order
