Pho was good the noodles tasted home made! There was a very strong taste of something I think maybe star anise other than that it was a nice change of food! The pork belly banh mi was so GOOD! We got it to share I think I might’ve enjoyed it a lot more than what I came for (Pho)
Green tea latte was delicious!! Great staff and great interior!
EDIT….
Next day we had to see if it was a one off! Nope, equally as good, I had the Bun Cha Hanoi and a belly pork Ban ni and the wife had a beef Ban mi!!
Fantastic food, great staff!!!
I found the most adorable, cozy little spot in BKK1—it’s totally a hidden gem!
First off, the staff is, like, amazing. So completely attentive! The menu is short and sweet, which I love—just enough variety without being overwhelming.
But the best part? Every time I go, one of the two owners actually comes by the table to ask how everything is and how they can do better. How sweet is that?! You can tell they pour their absolute heart and soul into every single detail. It’s the kind of place you want to support.
And it’s not even expensive!
The ingredients are super fresh, the service is fast, and the food… OMG, the food!
Okay, so full disclosure, I was maybe still like 47% intoxicated from last night (lol, don’t judge me! ), but I absolutely LOVED everything! This is, hands down, the best Vietnamese restaurant in all of Cambodia! Honestly, it “Ashley slaps” most of the places I’ve tried in Vietnam.
The beef pho and the pork belly banh mi were SO delicious. Just insanely good, rich flavors. Even the iced americano was fantastic! ☕️
Seriously, with the reasonable prices and the super kind, welcoming staff, this place is a must-try. 10/10!
I really like their food. I came many times and every time was amazing and the quality was really really good. I cannot describe how pleasant it is to come time after time at Bun.
The pho soup is the best i ever ate, and the bo bun also. Their Spring roll are really fresh and I never tasted this kind of Spring Roll, they are very good.
Good try yourself !
The portions are extremely tiny, unfit for foreigner. See the pic of the pho which was only half full and a few strings of noodles. They charge $6.5 for this!
The taste is not that authentic but acceptable.
The gold standard Vietnamese restaurant is in Sihanoukville unfortunately and called pho de Paris, which rivals the restaurants in Vietnam. BUN is rather sub-par and given the price, can be avoided altogether.
The place is also a foreigner trap as there were zero locals when I visited.
On the positive side, the staff is friendly and speaks English well.
