Bun on the Run has proudly served the best breakfast and lunch in the area for over 20 years. We opened our doors in June of 1992 with the philosophy that a good sandwich starts with the bun. So we set out to find the best bread we could get locally and did. The result, our gourmet lunches built from the bun up with our specialty sauces, crisp produce, and freshly sliced meats & cheeses. We create up to ten daily specials served on a variety of buns, grinders, paninis & wraps. To round things out we also feature homemade soups, fresh garden salads, and baked cookies. We pride ourselves on taking breakfast and lunch to the next level, so come in and try us out.

Nice small-town feel bagel and sandwich shop. Stopped in while traveling home from a trip. The woman who helped us was so warm and inviting. She helped me with choosing my sandwich as I am very picky and wasn’t sure about some of the options.
The sandwiches are fantastic and I’d highly recommend stopping in if you’re in the area!

This place is absolutely phenomenal. Every item on the menu is delicious – it’s impossible to be disappointed. Portions are large, prices are reasonable, and Ally is an amazing personality up front. Be open to trying something new from them too, they don’t miss!

Bun on the Run is definitely a five-star restaurant. Locals know that this place is a hidden gem. The food is absolutely incredible. The lunch and breakfast menu are amazing; there is something for everyone. The portions are large, and the price is low for what you get here. There is so much good stuff on the menu here; I couldn’t pick one particular thing, but my favorite is the tomato basil soup! Ally generally works the register and keeps everything going order-wise, and her amazing gift is remembering your name from the first time you come in. I can’t say enough about this restaurant. It is our “Go-to” place for lunch and breakfast. Highly recommend! You won’t be sorry!

I was in the area and this place was recommended to me when I inquired about availability of a good to get a breakfast sandwich.
I called ahead and spoke with Allie. She was very nice, and the sandwich was ready when I arrived. The pricing is reasonable, and the sandwich was nothing short of great. The bun was unique compared to any other I’ve ever had, but it was really tasty. The bacon wasn’t excessive, but the egg was laid in there pretty heavily.
Bottom line: I was very happy I went here and will return in the future if in the area. I hear the lunch crowd gets a little heavy, but as far as grabbing a mid-morning sandwich to go- I was in and out quickly.

Pictured was one of their specials of the day. Forgot what it was but the sandwich was very very good. The bun was nice and soft! Place is hard to find but once you find it and eat your food you will be happy. For sure a great lunch spot in centerbrook. Will go back once I’m in the area.

I was referred by a colleagues and absolutely love it. Ally was so helpful, patient, and super personable. I got a grilled chicken on spinach wrap and what I loved the most was that the chef really sliced the chicken so there would be even placement. Service was quick.

Needed something fast. As soon as I walked in the aroma of fine food hit me. The young lady at the counter suggested the meatloaf sandwich. My choice of bread was a wrap, hold the lettuce and tomato, but lite on the mayo. IT WAS DELICIOUS! Added to my order was a Gatorade, 2 chocolate chip cookies, and Deep River bbq chips. I paid $16 and change. Hey, I was hungry! So much to choose from on the menu. I’ll definitely return.

Ordered porkroll egg and cheee. Had to wait very long fir order to be ready. Rather than telling me they don’t have porkroll they just served me bacon egg and cheese. The sandwich was decent. However it was not what I ordered and not what I expected. To be fair if I knew they didn’t have porkroll I would have probably not
order the bacon egg and cheese and then I wouldn’t have been so disappointed with the sandwich. It just would have been my preference to have had the information to make the choice and not order a porkroll and get bacon.
