This spot has a charming antique shop vibe, and it’s actually interesting to look around the restaurant. We’d read some reviews about unfriendly service, but we didn’t have that issue with our server. In fact, we thought the staff was pretty friendly overall

CASH ONLY. We stopped in for our first time as a party of two this past weekend and even though it wasn’t that crowded and we just ordered an omelette and pancakes & eggs we had to wait an hour and 20 minutes for our food to arrive! Literally OVER an hour! Also, the menu is very small and as mentioned it is cash only. Our server was very polite and very nice just everything took forever. Not the sort of place you would want to go to if you are in a rush based on comments from other diners around us. I do like the inside interior, it has a bunch of Americana strewn over the walls and makes it feel like a local country diner. They also have a parking lot in back so is fairly easy to find a space or you can also just do free street parking.
Even though the service was extremely slow and it is cash only it is very fairly priced and the food quality is very good. Everything that we ordered came out great it just took forever to come out. For my first visit I chose the Special Omelette and really enjoyed the marinated steak and the guacamole on top. It was a great sized portion and I honestly really liked the everything about it. If it weren’t for the service delays, I would’ve definitely given a four or possibly even five out of five. I may try again in the future if I’m in the area, but certainly not if I’m in a rush.

Been driving by for years, admiring the building,but mostly thought it was closed. But the food is good and the atmosphere was outstanding. Best I can tell it’s been in the family since the post war, as described in clipping below, and there were regulars and old families at the tables. The place has a lot of great clutter and tchochkes. Anyway I showed up with the Worm and we was right pleased and the food was good. They got a burrito which was tasty and I got the rancheros and we shared a short stack. All pretty good, not outstanding, but just as you’d expect in a family run restaurant. And the coffee was perfect.

First time coming here after living in the area for years and I’m so frustrated that I didn’t try it sooner. This place has great food and friendly employees. Their prices are noticeably lower than nearby locations and it’s probably because of their cash only business. The closest ATM is at the CVS a block away. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes diners. This place has way better quality of food than the IHOP or Denny’s nearby. I tried their breakfast and lunch and it was great. I’ll be a regular here from now on.

A friend took me to this cute & cozy restaurant. As soon as I walked in, I loved the decor. There’s a counter to sit at with the visible kitchen on the other side. There’s booths on the window side. However you can go into a much larger dining area with more booths but tables as well. In both rooms, the walls are decorated with all sorts of knickknacks & photos of Elvis. Being a Coca Cola fan, I’m mesmerized by all the Coke products from bottles, signs, trays, pins, etc. Food is American & Mexican. All of which is delicious! Service was really good & our waitress was friendly. This is one of my favorite places now.

This place was cool before Covid but now it suck’s. Still cash only so come prepared. My waffle was burnt and dry. The syrup was awful and made my crummy waffle taste worse. Ask for a refill in my soda and the lady tried to charge me for a new one even though the menu stated at the bottom in small print I get one refill. Not coming back. Rather try my luck at an IHOP or Dennys.

I recently went there I pass by this place on the way home from work. Lived in the area all my life but never once walked in. Till now I was pleasantly surprised other people commented on the atmosphere that was ok. The food is good the service slow and it’s cash only and but other than that it was nice I’ll be back.
