I love this place due to it being different. You can find so many pho restaurants in Georgia but can you really find one that specialize in bun mam? Bun Mam Saigon is not for the weak. When you first walk in, you will automatically smell the stinky smell of the fermented fish and that’s what makes this restaurant unique! You’ll know the food will be good by the smell. If you’re selling this type of dishes and your place don’t smell, I don’t want them.
It was three of us and we ordered bun mam, bun rieu oc, canh bun oc and bun dau mam tom. The bun mam is a little sweet for my preference but with lime and they have tamarind dipping sauce so the bowl was perfect. The bun rieu and canh bun was so good. The portion was crazy big. We are all big eater and it took everything in us to finish. Let me talk about the bun dau mam tom. I see some reviews complaining about the dish. To me, she has the best mam tom. The mam tom was already prepared so all you need is to add chilli if you like spicy. One of my friend couldn’t do mam nem and she tried it and she says it was good.
I’ll treat this place like any other viet restaurants and don’t expect too much from service. When we went it’s literally the mom and daughter running the place. The food came out quick and efficiently. I don’t expect services when going to viet restaurant but they were nice and pleasant. She was explaining to the other table what sauce they should used for each dish. Personally, service is alright here. They’re nice and get you what you need.
This place is a must try on my list and yes I will support this place always since it’s on my way home from work.
Until next time!!! Peace

This place has no frills. The limited menu revolves around strong and complex Vietnamese flavors. We really enjoyed the bun mam and thought the broth had the signature pungent, sweet, savory and tangy balance. The salted fish fried rice was spot on with its salty and funky-umami flavor. One of the best we’ve had in a while.

Five stars all around! This location was recommended to me by a neighbor. Upon first walking in, I loved the warm greeting and friendly atmosphere. Music was a nice chill vibe. I don’t typically order Vietnamese food so I needed a little assistance when I arrived. Staff was very friendly and helped walk me through the items. I ordered BÁNH CANH CUA/CHẢ CUA. I will definitely order that again. Everything tasted amazing. I’ve included a picture. The portions are huge. Had enough left over for dinner that night. The rolls were great. We ordered a few more to go. Absolutely loved it. Will definitely be back.

Came a week after they opened and had their bún mắm. It was sooo delicious. They gave a large amount of fresh herbs and veggies and had all different sauces on the table like mắm rước and tamarind sauce for the soup and lots of chilies. The last time I’ve had bún mắm this good was when I was in Vietnam. I enjoyed it so much that I came back again that evening to try their Bun đầu hù mắm tôm. It was so delicious. I’m back home in another state now but wish I could go back to GA just to eat there again ! Recommend if you want to feel like you’re transported back to eating in VN!

I really love Bun Mam and was excited to try this restaurant. The service was disappointing. The older lady who served us seemed unprofessional and not very welcoming. Even when the food tastes good, poor service can really affect the overall experience.
Good food alone isn’t enough. Customers come for the full experience. Unfortunately, because of the service, I don’t feel motivated to come back and try other dishes.

The food is very good and very authentic. I love it. However, there is just a little bit draw back on the ventilation. Our clothes would catch “Mam” smell. I would highly recommend for for owner to think about it. Over all I love their menu and definitely coming back.

Nice place to try Vietnamese food, especially their Bun Mam. The staff is friendly and the service is great! The soup was a little on the sweet side for my personal taste, but overall it’s a solid spot.

I came here expecting bad service base on the reviews. Surprisingly, they was nice to us and the bun mam was really good. The Bun bo hue is so so . If you craving for bun mam, this place is your spot .

Absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish!
The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared—every dish tasted like it was made with real care and high-quality ingredients. Portions were generous and perfectly balanced, making each bite enjoyable.
The service was just as impressive. The staff: Ni,Ngoc were friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without being intrusive. Orders came out promptly, and everything was explained clearly with great recommendations.
The atmosphere was clean, comfortable, and inviting, making it a perfect place to enjoy a relaxed meal. From the delicious food to the excellent service, this restaurant truly delivers on all levels. Highly recommended—We’ll definitely be coming back!

I’m a regular customer here, I come about 3 or 4 times a month, so I’m very familiar with the restaurant’s operating hours. My experience today was truly terrible because I felt unwelcome. The reason I say this is because when I arrived at the restaurant at around 8 PM, instead of being greeted, I was told by a woman: “Look at the menu and order quickly because the restaurant is closing in a few minutes.” However, I checked the operating hours and found that the restaurant closes at 9 PM. Instead of rushing me, I think it would have been better if you had simply refused service and suggested I come back another day; I think I would have had a better experience. I believe your restaurant wants customers to enjoy their meals comfortably, not to be rushed because closing time is approaching. Thank you!
