This place is so good! I went for the first time today and I was so impressed. For starters the staff was so friendly! The owner was very kind and shared the back story of why he started this restaurant. The food was AMAZING. I got the bacon bun burger and it was delicious as were the fries. They have multiple different sauces to have with the burger. The house sauce was delicious and the owner gave us a new spicy sauce to try that was also very yummy if you like spicy. If you are looking for something different in Chico I highly recommend the Bun Burger!

First time here and I will say it’s pretty good. The service was great workers are really friendly and the people cooking were also very nice! I order a BBQ Bacon burger and my girlfriend got a Jalapeno Burger. The fries were surprisingly really good and the sauce i asked for was the House sauce which really is thousand island. Girlfriend also really liked the coleslaw. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something new and different.

Tried Bun Burger tonight for the first time. Truly was a fantastic experience!! The burger was unique and delicious!
The best quality of the meat, freshly made when ordered, and not greasy at all. The bun is crispy and thin, and holds up with the burger inside. The French fries are crispy and soft, the perfect combination and top all of it off with the spicy sauce!!
The owner was very engaging and kind and made the experience very memorable!

I have been wanting to try this place and I finally went. The fries was pretty good and so was the burger but the meat could’ve had a little bit more flavor and I expected the bun to be a little bit more fluffy but I still like the crunchiness of it. We went on a Wednesday around 5 PM and it was completely empty. It was around $20 for the meal including a burger, fries, a drink, and a small side of coleslaw. They do bake them for you so it takes a little bit longer but I didn’t mind that. It was a cool thing to try here in Chico I would go again.

First time visiting this restaurant and happy I did! I got the Tomato Burger combo (burger, coleslaw, fries, drink) and asked for their house sauce.
Never seen a burger made like this before, definitely is unique! Cooking a burger like this changes the texture and taste of it, since it is all cooked together at once. It did taste amazing, however I did miss the fresh lettuce and was lacking in my likeness for different textures while eating a hamburger. Saying that, potentially a different kind may give way for different textures to be produced. For some reason the cheese felt very cheesy in the mouth. I’m not sure if they used more than a standard burger, but just felt like a lot of cheese when taking a bite. (I’m not complaining really, just was noticeable.) I also wish there were other cheese options to sub for, but with this resturant just opening recently they still have a lot of opportunity for growth and expansion. Bit disappointed with the amount of coleslaw given, but enjoyed it. And wished I asked for extra sauce – I found the sauce nice to add to the burger, but also did dip the fries in it! Fries were standard, but good!
While I did do takeout, the environment was welcoming and nice for the time I was waiting and the staff was friendly and polite.

First time here and the burger and fries I got were outstanding! Place is very clean and the owner was super nice. I highly recommend Bun Burger to everyone to try. One of the best burgers I’ve ever had and the fries were also great!
