Duong Truong
My friend recommended trying Song Huong Bun Bo Huế (spicy noodle soup). As a Huế native, I was a bit skeptical because it always tastes better at home.
The restaurant is huge, with seating available for both indoor and outdoor. Service was impressive; the waiter was attentive, extremely polite, and helpful.
I have eaten this dish all over the US, including on a recent trip to Vietnam. I must say, this is the best that I have had so far. The broth was rich and full of lemongrass aroma. The flavor was there until the last spoonful. It’s unlike some restaurants where the flavor kind of fades away as I get to the middle of the bowl. The meat portion was quite generous, and the vegetables provided were also endless—I could ask for more if I wanted to.
If you are in Little Saigon/Vietnam Town, please check out this restaurant. I have not tried other dishes yet, but so far, the Bun Bo is a solid 10/10. I will definitely be back to try out other dishes.

The bún bò huế has a rich, flavorful broth with just the right amount of spice, and the beef and pork are tender and satisfying. The noodles are perfectly chewy. Their sampler plate is a great way to try a bit of everything. The bánh căn, however, was disappointing and lacked flavor. Portions are generous, and the staff is friendly, making it a casual, welcoming spot overall.

Nothing comes close to my love for this restaurant. I’ve dined in here for so many times I couldn’t count. All dishes are delicious

Tried this place for the first time, the bun Bo hue was ~$17, on the pricier size, and I would say their soup is very fatty compared to other places, but the pork slices and meat is really good, with good portions and cuts. But the service here is overall pretty good
Would def come back and maybe try some of their other options.

We shared appetizers “A to E” for lunch on the list. I liked the banh it ram (crispy square with shrimp and rice) and ban beo uot (steamed small plates with shrimp powder and pork rind). We may try the porridge only available on weekends. Service was nice.

Really enjoyed this new authentic restaurant. The bún riêu had tender and different varieties of meats than other places. The bánh ít ram and bánh bèo we’re really good with fresh crispy pork skin. Service was quick and thorough. 2 unisex restrooms. Large outdoor seating area.

The restaurant is on a nice location as well as inside of it. Staffs are also nice enough. BBH, Bún Bò Huế, is popular now day besides Phở. Unfortunately not all of restaurants are able to make BBH to make people WOW. We, two people ordered Bánh Bèo Khô, BBK, Bánh Bột Lọc, BBL, and BBH, of course. The texture of BBK and BBL were moderate just a bit thin. The fish sauce for BBK and BBL were also a bit sweet. Huế’s foods is not supposed to be sweet. BBH, it did not make my day, the broth way too sweet, I mean sugar sweetness. Again, Huế foods are not supposed to be sweet. Huế people or most most people who live from Central of Vietnam, they’re very limited in their use of sugar to sweeten their foods. BBH,s broth lacked shrimp fermented paste, mắm ruốc, and also lacked of amazing aroma and taste of lemongrass. Spicy, depends, (my mom in-law is from Huế, she is not a type use too spicy in her foods, none of restaurants out there compare to her BBH) it’s nice that there is a stainless steel jar of sipcy paste on the table, I scooped 2 of its. Beef, pork meats and beef tendon were not too tough not too soft which I liked. Also, the pork blood was very well cooked, right on the texture and was not dried. The noodle itself was overcooked, became mushy…..by the way, inside atmosphere of the restaurant which we liked but BBH of the day we visited, at least of my own view.

A Culinary Delight – Bun Bo Hue
My journey into the authentic world of Vietnamese cuisine has led me to many places, but it is rare to find a dish as delightful and satisfying as the Bun Bo Hue at this restaurant. This was my first visit here, and I believe in love at first taste!
The Bun Bo Hue was absolutely delicious – so rich in flavor that every spoonful felt like a celebration of spices on my palate. The warmth of the broth, combined with perfectly cooked noodles and tender pieces of meat, resulted in a dish that was both comforting and exhilarating.
While food is at the heart of any restaurant, service can make or break the dining experience. Here, they have hit the ball out of the park with their outstanding service. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and ensured a smooth dining experience from start to finish.

I came here on a Monday night with my family and we were seated right away. The server thoroughly explained the menu to us. I got to try several types of noodle, but definitely fell for the Bun Bo Hue and Banh Canh. The noodle texture was perfect for splurping. The warm and flavorful soup hugged my soul tightly. The flavor was so rich and they were not shy with the toppings. I loved that the bun bo Hue was spicy, but not chokingly spicy so I was able to enjoy it so much easier. My mom approved the banh beo uot. I, on the other hand, will come back for more banh bot loc and banh it ram.

This is a new viet restaurant specializing in central region food. They’re known for their Bun Bo Hue (spicy noodle soup), but they also have Bun Rieu (tomatoes soup with crab paste), Bun Hen (baby clams over noodle and vegetables), and their appetizers such as Banh Beo Kho (ground shrimp over rice cakes), and Banh it Ram (steamed dumpling atop fried), which were all so good!
Bun Bo Hue- I tried so many but this one tastes differently. It’s a lemon grass beef broth loaded with meat, pork blood, scallions, rice noodle and other ingredients. Other places, the soup is too sour but not this place.
Bun Rieu- this was also my favorite. It was so comforting to eat on a rainy day. Loved the tomato soup with crab paste.
Bun Hen & Banh it Ram- my first time trying this and loved it. It has a chewy texture with dried shrimp, scallion and dipped with fish sauce. Yum!
I highly recommend trying this place!
