The food was horrible. The meat tasted like compressed soy beans and grease. The large drink was gone after two sips from the straw because the cup was filled to the top with ice. The entire contents of the large fries container could fit in the palm of my hand. The apple pie tasted like slimy sugar wrapped in buttered cardboard and then deep fried. Something awful has happened to this establishment. We always looked forward to stopping here as we passed through Yazoo City, but we never will again.

Very bad quality food. About the level of generic, gas station food, like AM/PM at ARCO. Bad. How does a full restaurant experience rank so low in serving hamburgers, hotdogs, and french fries? By having slow, untrained servers and using low quality ingredients prepared using an uninspired set of boring recipes with no flair or invention nor innovation. It’s as if someone purposely thought to themselves, how can we copy SONIC, while making the entire experience suck? Your answer: BUMPERS.

Bumpers’ hot fudge cake is an absolute thing of beauty. I still remember the first one I ever had… I swore some government research facility had spent billions of dollars to determine the absolute perfect ratio of cake to ice cream to whipped cream to fudge. It’s a thing of beauty! So proud to have one in Yazoo.
