It was pretty solid!
We got an ahi tune salad and fish tacos and my daughter got hotwings. It was really good for the price. The servers were very nice and the meals came out quick.
The only downside was the fish was overcooked on the tacos, but the flavor was still great.

We absolutely love everything we ordered. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. We can’t look forward to going back to it. It’s so convenient for us because we can walk to the restaurant. The serving that they gave me of catfish strips was more than what I could eat. My wife absolutely loved her Reubin sandwich. She said it was the best she ever had. Our son enjoyed his burger as well.

First flight going and may go back and try something different. The Lavash was good, the fries were good. The hamburger was ok. The hamburger and fries could have been warmer which always disappointing. Our server was good. Some people would stand right outside of the front door and smoke and it would drift into the outside seating area. That wasn’t good.

If you enjoy basic bar food, then this is your place. We started off with the onion rings and wagyu sliders – the onion rings were no better than the ones you can get at BK, and the sliders were so dry that only ketchup could save them.
For entrees, we ordered wings and the skirt steak tacos. The steak was tender, but the flavor was just ok. We love wings, but these were very disappointing – they were extremely dried out and overcooked. The service was also nothing more than what you would expect from a traditional sports bar – never checked back after our food came out.
The only reason we are giving two stars, is because all of the food came out hot.

I recently visited Bumpa’s at 2738 Capital Cir NE, in Tallahassee, FL. I had a very good experience at Bumpas..I sat at the bar and was greeted for my drink order. It was my first time and the bartender dude gave me some great advice on getting the churrasco tacos which were the daily special. The smoked Gouda Mac was awesome. Go check this place out!

Nice local place to eat out, very family oriented. I enjoyed the seating outdoors on their porch.
The tacos were very tasty with a sweet spicy sauce that was not overwhelming at all. Our server was super sweet with us and made us feel welcome.
There was plenty of parking.

FOOD: Overpriced for portion size. Inconsistent food temp and poor quality control. Meh overall taste.
SERVICE: Horrendous. Hostess seated people who came after us and was not sorry about it and gave us a stinky look too. Waitress walked off before we finished ordering and it happened twice. Barely said anything the whole time and just places the food and walks off again. Only showing courtesy when it was time to pay.
ATMOSPHERE: So-so. Not a good place to hang-out and do catch-up. Can barely hear because of the overall noise.
First time and last time going. 100% would not recommend.

Extensive variety in the menu, fair prices. Food excellent. Only reason I gave it a 4star for service is because the food took a while but perhaps it was because of what I ordered. Ate outside, seemed like a meeting place for lots of locals. Will go back and try other items. Husband had blackened shrimp po boy and I had the southwest Lavash. Both excellent. Will go back!

We were off to Bumpa’s again and just like the first time we had a blast. Family, good friends and good food. And good service I might add. We had another awesome waitress. Wish I had gotten her name. But another great meal, and they even had a sandwich for me. Vegan lovers, try ‘The Shroom’. I really enjoyed it and I think you will too.

I ordered the bbq ribs. After sitting there for nearly 30 minutes, the waiter comes out to say there are no more ribs for the lunch shift, they are now preparing for the dinner shift only. But the waiter did recommend another dish, and I don’t think it measured up to what I had ordered. I can say the Bumpas Rolls are delicious.

Just a really disappointing experience today at the normally-reliable Bumpa’s. To start, we weren’t greeted when we arrived around 1:30 at the empty hostess stand, nor even when she finally walked by — I had to flag her down. We asked for an outside table on this beautiful Fall day, and we’re told that we had to wait for them to “wipe a couple down” (we could see several that hadn’t even been bused yet).
They were fairly busy, but not as packed as Bumpa’s often is.
We were finally seated after 10-15 minutes, then no server came by for another 10 minutes. We ordered an appetizer (onion rings) and drinks (sweet tea with lemon) immediately, as well as our lunch order since by now we were starving (churrasco tacos with fries, and my wife got a cheeseburger + add bacon with chips). Our order came about 40 minutes later, and both of our entrees were cold, and WRONG. I got Mac ‘n cheese instead of fries (to be fair, I had originally picked that, but had changed it), and my wife’s burger had no cheese, and no bacon. No lemons for our teas, despite asking twice.
After our server didn’t come back to check on us, I went and found her and asked to speak to the manager, and told her what our issues were. She was pleasant, and said she’d send the manager over. We politely explained our issues to the really young manager, who said our server was new, and that she’d already had other complaints. We were sympathetic, as our own kids work in food service and everyone can have an off day, but I’m also pretty sure the cold food or the slow kitchen wasn’t her fault.
The manager apologized and offered to replace our meals. I twice said we really just needed them heated up, and cheese and bacon added to my wife’s burger, as we hate to waste otherwise good food and by now we were VERY hungry and in a hurry.
After about 5 minutes the manager returned, and said despite our wishes the kitchen wanted to completely remake our meals. Which took another 15 minutes.
Wife’s burger came back with the cheese and bacon, but now WITHOUT the tomato. She also said it wasn’t as good as it normally is there (she orders the burger every time). My tacos were still cold but whatever, I was starving and wasn’t going to send them back again.
Still no lemons for our tea, after three requests to two different people.
The MOST disappointing thing was that THEY TOOK NOTHING OFF OUR BILL after all of that. They at least should have taken half off in our opinion.
