This place is delicious! It’s right down the street from the downtown Kerrville. Totally worth the trip. Great sub sandwiches and soups. Fresh made pies too! On a hot day grab your lunch from this local gem!

Great sandwich/soup/spud restaurant. I ordered a 1/2 sandwich, and it was more than enough. My friend ordered a 1/2 baked potato and, again, more than enough food. Service is great and meals arrive timely.

Really good place for sandwiches and soup. They are only open for lunch so they have a great take out business. Pies and other bakery products are great as well. Sandwiches are large so if not that hungry, try a half sandwich. I really like their Ruben. Everything is made in house, even their bread. Staff was friendly with good service.

We were on a road trip back home and looked up restaurants in Kerrville. We thought the name was funny so we thought we had to check it out. Couldn’t have been more pleased. The food was amazing and the staff was so nice. Everything was homemade and we definitely left with extra pie. Not too far from I-10, would definitely recommend.

Sandwiches are freshly made and taste great. My favorite is the Reuben Sandwich. But best known for their desserts. Pies… Coconut Cream, Cheese Cake, Apple and other Fruits, Lemon and Chocolate Meringue, Banana Cream and my favorite the chocolate peanut butter pie. So delicious. If you go toward the end of the day you may miss out on your favorite pie so go early and grab your slice or get them as a whole pie. Great idea to get a whole pie for a family event. You will be the hero of the day. Try Bumdoodlers!!

Use to love coming here. Today went to order the potatoe soup which is normally great. Asked for extra crackers . Another man came up said that they had to start charging for extra crackers. I asked how many does it come with and how much. Was told two packs of crackers. Was informed two packs. Two packs of crackers for a bowel of soup is not enough.. So said cancel my soup because with out the crackers I wouldn’t enjoy it & the man that had came to the window slammed the window so wasn’t allowed to get the one soup. Won’t be going back & was a long time customer.

Visit Bumdoodler’s once and it will immediately become your only go-to deli in Kerrville. Patient, fun and friendly staff makes for a great start, but it gets even better with the menu selections. Sandwich size and meat portions are generous, tomatoes/other ingredients are fresh and what makes it the perfect deli is a side of chips and a pickle spear. Reasonable pricing is a bonus, making it even more excuse-worthy to drive from Fredericksburg for lunch. P.S. Just call us regulars from here on out!
