Bullpen Luxury Bar & Grill was designed as an upscale sports bar that offers something for everyone, as well as, the preferred location for private parties, corporate events, casual gatherings and more. Minors are welcomed daily until 10pm in the dining area. We are the only sports bar in the area that offers all major sports TV packages, thus being the premier spot to watch your favorite sports action on one of our 17 large Screen Plasma TVs and projectors. Bullpen Luxury Bar & Grill also has a beautiful outdoor patio, as well as banquet space for up to 50 people (seated) or 75 (standing). The bar offers 12 beers on tap, as well as your favorite bottled beer choices, wine lists, and premium liquors.

Our family placed a fairly large order for the Super Bowl. We placed it online, which I must say was one of the easiest online ordering systems and so straightforward!! We placed it on Super Bowl Sunday, so we were impressed at how easy and how accommodating it all was given the demand. Our order (6 pizzas, 4 orders of wings, two appetizer samplers, and more) were made absolutely perfectly. Lots of us ate and everyone absolutely raved about the food. Wow. The wings are exceptional and we couldn’t get enough of the pizza!
We’d like to also recognize the sweet hosts, Mateo and Mia who helped us at pickup. They were so kind to the little kids we had with us, offering to go get a prize with them out of the vending gumball machine. Thank you all so much for making our last minute food plans happen and with such deliciousness. Hopefully these specials run more often because we see this being a regular thing!!

It is so big and seating to accommodate big family outings to eat.
They have such reasonable prices and the food is delicious.
Alcohol beverages are worth every penny as they do not hold back on a good amount of alcohol.
Has a full bar if you just want to get together with a friend and drink.
Oh, and they have a giant pac-man arcade game that you must play before leaving.

Mia was awesome with our pickup order tonight! She was super friendly right when we got there, and made everything feel easy and nice. Our order was pretty customized, and she really paid attention to all the details and checked with us on everything and made sure it was done just right.

Bullpen The Bar & Gelsosomo’s Pizza of Schererville located on Rt 30 off Rt 41 is a newer restaurant location with plenty of punch. It is more sports bar actually that serves up Gelsosomo’s food. The large upscale bar is front and center as the main feature with pub tables and plenty of bar seating. I went in the afternoon so it was not very busy. The restaurant/bar was in full Christmas mode with lights, tinsel, colorful decorations throughout. It was very festive and uplifting. There is a front outdoor patio off Rt 30 for the summer months and parking on the side not a huge lot but sufficient. They do have a room for private parties available at the back of the restaurant. The menu is varied and the pizza the very best with a crispy yet chewy dough crust. I find it pizzeria style very authentic & can’t go wrong ordering. I would most definitely recommend Gelsosomo Pizzeria for good food, date night & special gatherings. This is more of an adult establishment so best to get a sitter. I am not affiliated with Gelsosomo’s of Schererville or any of its employees. This is my personal experience & review to help others get to know businesses in their hometown area or visitors.

Very disappointed. Been going there for years and now they start cutting corners. I go for the Chopped Garden Chicken salad. When I ordered it the server gave me a heads up that it is no longer served with garlic bread. Huh? Okay. Now it always came with a nice piece of grilled chicken sliced on the top, with corn, bacon, and tomato. The top also has tortilla chips on it. Well, now the chicken is chopped up into little pieces, you need a microscope to find it. No tomato, very little corn, and the bacon was also hard to find. No tortilla chips on top either. What a rip off. I guess they think no one is going to notice. Oh, well. I won’t be back there again. Might as well go buy a head of lettuce at Stracks, toss it in a bowl and save $14.00. What a rip off.

I have frequently ordered pizza from this establishment and it has consistently been good. However, my recent experience with other menu wasn’t that great. I ordered Fettuccine noodles with Alfredo sauce and chicken (additional cost) the kids got a wrap and the $7 burger and fry special.
The noodles resembled spaghetti more than fettuccine. The Alfredo sauce tasted like heavy butter mixed with Parmesan cheese, lacking the true essence of Alfredo.Subpar quality overall.
**Recommendations:**
If you decide to order from this restaurant, I strongly recommend sticking with their pizza, which is excellent. The appetizers are also worth trying.
While the pizza remains a standout, other menu items do not meet the same quality standards.
