My wife and our three young daughters tried Bullmans pizza for the first time since we have lived in Montana. We heard good things about it, but we finally made it there last night.
I was a bit surprised by the smallness of the table area, and when we arrived there around 7:30pm it was BUSY! We got the only table, and that was nice but it was LOUD. Loudest restaurant we’ve been in in a long time.
The menu items sounded good, and We made our orders. We saw the pizzas delivered to our neighboring table, which was seemingly only inches from us, lol, and the crusts seemed unevenly cooked and burned, and we weren’t sure.
When the food arrived though, it tasted better than it looked. The crusts were SUPER thin though, I guess because it’s cooked in an open fire oven, but it tasted good regardless of the way it appeared.
The all meat pizza was a little disappointing with the amount of meat that was on it, and the herb bread appetizer was super thin too, so the entire meal just about was finished with hardly any leftovers.
With tip, it was $100 to eat there, so it was pretty pricey and the value wasn’t as high as I would hope. It’s not bad though, and it’s quite different than most of the other pizza places around. It’s definitely worth a try because of it’s uniqueness.

Driving pass Helena and was looking for something to eat. Compared to all the reviews, seems like Bullman is the best place for pizza in this area.
It is good, ingredient is fresh. It is thin crust style pizza, similar to New York style pizza but the crush is harder. Still good. They don’t skim on toppings. i would skip their appetizer though, the herb bread does not impress me. Barely any herbal/garlic taste.
Their sandwiches menu looks good. I will try that for lunch next time. I don’t have problem with service, I guess depends on what server you get and I did have a good one, I can tell the other one that sit next to the oven has a mean face on.

Bullmans wasn’t somewhere we dine at regularly but stopped in tonight to try it out. The pizza was great and the prices were super reasonable. This might have to be in our rotation to fill any pizza cravings! Boyfriend VERY approved.

Good luck finding better Pizza, or better salads! I make pizza from scratch at home but this is the place I crave! Best pizza I’ve had in a while! Servers have always been attentive and answered all our questions kindly. Definitely recommend this place for good, fresh food!

I want to like this place. I think I’ll try this as a in-person because I was pretty bummed with the takeout. The flavors were so unique but the pizza was dry and I’m used to bigger medium pizzas. I would say this is a small.

You know the food is excellent when people keep coming back time after time, but the service really needs an overhaul. Rarely, can you get a phone call and unless you’re sitting in the dining room room than everybody gets a phone call and then when you are sitting in the dining room, it takes forever to get service. The place is loud and they force you to sit in certain seats to demand that two people sit in the middle, but three people can sit in a booth totally ridiculous I love the food love the pizza. Everything is great and even the servers are absolutely awesome but they’re overworked. They’re extremely stressed and that causes service to be slacking.
