John and family are the owners of bulldogs pizza. The service was amazing! John and staff were so friendly and helpful and patient. They took in a group of 12 of us without a reservation and fit us in and served us quickly. The food was great. The atmosphere fun and casual. I would highly recommend eating here. They had vegetarian and vegan options as well as gluten-free pizza crust. It was perfect for a diverse group of people. They were great to split up the bill and took great care of us.

This place never disappoints! Whether it’s day or night, the service is consistently exceptional. Having lived in the northeast for most of my life, I can confidently say this is the closest you’ll get to true NY-style pizza. The crust is perfectly buttery with a crispy bottom. I find myself making the trip from Marshall at least three times a month!
A special shoutout to the kind ladies in the early afternoon and the guy who works nights—both make every visit enjoyable. Plus, they’re military-friendly; just ask! Thank you for your service to my stomach! I’ll definitely keep coming back!

Stopped in this pizza joint with my grandma and beautiful aunt, mom and sister. Employees were very nice, service was great. Salad and pizza was amazing . Definitely recommend stopping into Bulldog Pizza. They also sale Chicago dogs. I did not get a chance to try there’s but I will next time.

Such a welcoming staff and great local place for the family to go for pizza. I can’t say enough about this family-owned, locally-owned establishment. It’s a historical part of the community. Very cool place and a great drive! We’ll definitely be back! 10 out of 10!!

I wasn’t expecting much from the food. I hadn’t heard much good about it. Decided to try it for myself and even though the service was excellent, the food was disappointing. I ordered a medium pepperoni pizza with extra sauce & a large Tea. This had to be one of the worst pizzas I have ever had. There was no extra sauce, hardly any at all as a matter of fact! The dough was tough and chewy and raw in places. There was no shortage of cheese. So much so that it was EXCESSIVELY cheesy. The whole pizza lacked any type of flavor. Sadly, this was my first and last experience with this place. Oh, the Tea was good, though!

Highly recommend! Travelling from the UK – best pizza and wings we have had in a long time. Had a lovely chat with the incredibly friendly owner. Definitely go if you are in Jefferson.

It was a cool experience when I walked in. It automatically smelled like a like pizza place should, with the ingredients being cooked and creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. I can’t wait to visit again.

My husband and I stopped here on a Saturday afternoon while on vacation. We ordered a Shrimp Alfredo and Chicken Fettuccini, the Italian salads, and a pizza with everything to go. It was great! The salad was incredible! Think a salad from a salad bar but carried to your table. It had fresh baby salad greens, carrots, tomatoes, black olives, green olives, mushrooms, bell peppers, cheese…. if there is something you don’t want they will take it off. If I could change one thing, I would have the dressing put on the side, just personal preference. I prefer less rather than more dressing, but my husband had no complaints about his. We also split a spinach lasagna, and it was also very good.
We were so stuffed that we didn’t eat the pizza until the following evening. Surprisingly, it was really good, even after it was reheated in the oven. The sauce had a bit of a spicy bite to it, which was fine with us. We like it that way.
The service was really good and everyone was very friendly.
We will definitely go back here the next time we are in the area.
