Came in last weekend with my wife and child. I inside of the building is gorgeous (kind of reminds me of a ski lodge). We were seated quickly (it was a slow night, but it was snowing pretty heavily outside). The menu has a great selection of average priced meals up to more expensive aged beef and seafood. The food we ordered came quick and everything was delicious. The Bulldog beers we had were excellent (I had been to the Whiting brewery a few years ago). Our waitress was attentive and very friendly. Since I work nearby, I definitely see myself stopping by here for a drink or food. This place should be even better by summer when they open the bottom level. Highly recommend

A group of 12 of us came in at lunchtime, maybe overwhelmed the kitchen. Took a VERY long time to get the food. The waitress was very nice. Food was good. Shrimp Tacos should have been listed as an appetizer. Only two very small sized tacos were served, but they were delicious.

The atmosphere is wonderful. We have ate here about 6 or 7 times and I never left a review. My wife, brother and I all ordered the Chicken Oscars. Mine was good but the asparagus was over cooked. My wife’s chicken had to to be sent back because it was still pink and my brothers was good he said except for the asparagus was terrible. Overall I was disappointed this last time we went.

The service was impeccable and so was the drinks. They make an excellent Mai Tai!
This is why I was so saddened by the food choices and price.
We ordered the Oscar’s Monster, Jr Bully Burger, and a children’s grill cheese. They were out of the bacon wrapped scallops so we ordered a meat/fruit/cheese tray.
The meat/cheese/fruit tray had the highest quality of items and very tasty. My daughter got the grilled cheese however they put it on Texas Toast which was very difficult for a toddler to eat. The French fries tasted like kettle cooked fries and really tasty.
My husband’s burger was cooked to perfection but they didn’t have pickles which is weird for a place known for their burgers.
I had gotten Oscar’s Monster because I had a craving for Lobster and I was very disappointed when there was only 2 pieces of lobster and 6 spears of asparagus. The description said topped with lobster and asparagus so I guess I expected more. However the orange butter sauce was very good and the steak did not stick in between my teeth.
Overall it was a pleasurable experience but the price were on the high side. Would have been better if they had more seafood and gluten-free choices that didn’t cost an arm & leg.

Hands down 5 Star food and Service. Drinks were also great! We ate the Artichoke Dip, Tacos, and Sliders! Faboulous! I’m sure most other things are very good as well. Can’t wait to try! Great Prices, Great Atmosphere . We hope to see them succeed in this Great location on Marina Shores. And look forward to visiting quite often.

Bulldog on the lake is a restaurant overlooking a marina. The evening was approaching and the wind was almost calm. The view was worth the cost of dinner. We had the bacon wrapped scallops and a bowl of chili. Both were outstanding. We were going to have a dessert as well, but the chef had had a problem getting the item just right. As our server said, they didn’t want to serve a less than perfect item. That was too bad for us, but I think it was the best way for them to function.

A great location on a harbor to watch boats while enjoying casual dining. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly and the service is excellent. The menu has lots of choices from flat breads and sandwiches to full dinners. It has a full bar in addition to beer.

Took my wife there for a date night. What can I say a fantastic experience, the wait staff and bartender were top notch. The food was superb. Newly opened with the beach bar soon to come. I believe this will be a destination type place. You have to experience it for yourself this place is a gem. Can’t wait to come back. Good luck Bulldog thanks for a nice evening, see you soon.

Went with a party of 5 for Father’s Day. Two ordered cocktails which apparently barely had any alcohol in them. One was returned. There seemed to be only one waitress who was very backed up. She would forget which table ordered what, and seemed incredibly stressed. One person ordered a salad that was supposed to have chicken in it, but there was none. Dry pieces of chicken were brought out after further requests. Wrong food was brought out (don’t know the original order but they brought out a steak, most expensive item on the menu). This was accepted as it took so long to make, but even his came with the wrong side. This $33 steak was passed around for all to try because we couldn’t believe they charged that much for something I wouldn’t feed to a raccoon. Was a very unusual tasting chunk of meat. Perhaps it was raccoon. Will not be returning.

Beautiful view, great service. Drinks were strong and yummy. I had the chicken Oscar, and it was absolutely delish. Tasted my husband’s mashed potatoes, and I think I heard the angels sing.
