This place is a vibe and I can tell that on a busy night it would be like something out of a movie!! The food was yummy, our server Katelyn was really nice. I got a small salad which was very filling and my daughter got the Bull Burger with garlic fries… those were yummy too.
We got mocktails The Lavender Lemonade, and Strawberry Camomile Cooler. The Lavender drink had more flavor. I can only imagine if alcohol was added it would have been awesome.

This place is amazing! I really enjoyed the food and the selection of beers. I ordered the Bull Burger, and it was fantastic, the meat was delicious and perfectly cooked. The service was also great. The only downside was the A/C inside the restaurant. We tried to sit indoors, but the air conditioning was very weak, and there was a bit of an unpleasant smell. Other than that, everything else was excellent!

First time eating here on July 4th. They were one of the few restaurants open on the holiday. Our waitress was a doppelgänger of Reese Witherspoon. Spoke and looked like her. Anyway didn’t catch her actual name but she was probably one of the best waitstaff we have had in a very long time. She was very attentive to everyone that she was attending too. The food was good! I highly recommend the Buffalo Cauliflower and the Friend Mac and Cheese. Both were delicious. Also had the Hatch burger sub impossible burger that was yummy too. I would recommend this place when visiting downtown Davis!!

I booked a table in advance for a business lunch meeting. Everything was great, the service, assigned space for our meeting, etc. The food was great too, but the steak was not freshly prepared/cut. Overall, great experience.

Service was very good even with the very lively crowd. Cocktails were okay, a bit sweet. The Tri-tip sandwich was very good, I would come back again for it.
That being said, if you’re looking to go to dinner somewhere affordable, this is not the place. The price of the food wasn’t justifiable to me.
I’d go back for happy hour and apps but I can’t see myself going back for lunch/dinner. Too expensive for me.

Came here for lunch on a weekday. Not busy. The food was okay, I did not like the cheese dip. Dressings are house made and so good! Drink selection is decent. Low key layde back type of vibe. Good for small group gatherings, something chill.

Before the pandemic, there was an Irish pub in Davis which I loved. It disappeared and for 3 years the space was vacant. Until Bull ‘N Mouth finally opened its doors. The good thing is they preserved most of the previous decoration and even furniture, which was gorgeous. So in terms of ambience and decoration this place has it all. The menu consists mostly of what I would consider re-elaborated bar food, with some interesting and original twists to classic dishes. I got a cheeseburger with fries and an order of fried green beans. The food was ok, but I have to say the prices were a bit too high for what was being offered. Something that I also found confusing is that a lot of waiters were standing around, without much to do, and yet, to place an order you had to stand up and walk to the bar. For those prices, the least they can do is come to your table and take your order.

Burger was cooked PERFECT medium just the way I ordered it. Top 5 burger in town. Salad was elaborate even had sliced radish. I’ll be back.

Never going here for food again. Drinks, maybe. Food? Never.
I’ve been here 5 times now for lunch or dinner, mostly because I have nostalgia for de Verses that used to occupy the space. It has none of the vibes.
Service here is bad. Every time I’ve ever walked in, there were no staff on the floor. None. But they have a sign telling you to wait to be seated, so you always stand awkwardly at the door for what seems like minutes before done bored waitress saunters in from the back kitchen to ask what you want.
Once we’d get seated, we would RUSH to put in some kind of order because good luck seeing your server more than once every twenty minutes. I’m not exaggerating – the last two times we clocked good often we saw our server. Over an hour and a half, this last time, they came by twice, flagged then down once.
And the food was passable, but nothing to boast about. BBQ was either dry or under seasoned (or they were out), burgers were just as underseasoned, fries were undercooked or soggy. One of the first times I went here, I got the buffalo chicken salad. Another time I got it to go, and this is what I got (picture). It’s in the same container as a side salad, but costs twice the price. It’s okay got to go through experiences in order to have them right they can’t all be amazing like me that I’m going to be interested in snacky times a leader if that’s okay
The main saving grace was their drink menu – I have to hand it to them, cocktails were delicious and beer was was could (although their draft selection was left to be desired). Only problem was, you saw the servers in bartender so infrequently that it was impossible to get a second drink before your buzz wore off.
It’s a damn shame. The atmosphere of the bar, mostly do because of the old deviers aesthetic being significantly maintained, is excellent. And the food, no lacking, is passable enough. If only the service wasn’t so bottom level, this place might actually be a destination spot in Davis once again.
