Bull City Burger and Brewery is a locally owned, independent restaurant and craft brewery serving lunch and dinner 7 days per week with approximately 90 seats inside plus 50 seats of outside year round patio dining. We offer a family-friendly experience with a children’s play area, as well as a semi-private dining room for business gatherings, events and presentations. The restaurant is very much “farm-to-fork, working closely with NC farmers in our area. With nearly everything produced on-site including, fresh-ground hamburgers and hot dogs, house made buns, sauerkraut and bacon, we use no artificial sweeteners, no high fructose corn syrup, and no hydrogenated oils. We like to say we are like fine dining in a burger joint.

Contender for favorite burger in the area! Pretty much just burgers and fries, but tons of options for sauces and toppings. Hot sauce is very hot and very good. Non-alcoholic drinks are good too! Housemade lemonade and high-quality fountain sodas. Served in mason jars, natch. Service was fast and friendly. Cute little kids play area. Tables and chairs are designed more for efficiency than comfort, but that’s not a big deal for most. Scottish Ale was good not great.

Best burger ever! Seriously. You order at the counter and they deliver to your table. You’re off to a great start when they make a point of asking how you want your burger cooked. And it’s seriously good. The pickle chips are delicious as well! If you’re in Durham, do yourself a favor and grab a burger!

Best burgers in town! I love that a lot of their ingredients are locally sourced and have 100% grass fed meat which I LOVE! Their burgers are perfect portion, great flavors and goes nicely with their selection of great beers!

I’m vegetarian but really enjoy a good burger. Unfortunately, the veggie burger here is the mashed-up vegetable variety, not mock meat. It makes it unpleasant to eat as a burger because it’s just a mouthful of mush.
However, other people in my party enjoyed their beef burgers so I think if you’re not vegetarian you’ll enjoy this place. Everyone thought it was too expensive for what you get though. The fries are good, and very nice service.

I was in the Durham area for the day and got a taste for a good burger. Google suggested Bull City Burger and Brewery. I was very satisfied with the food, drink, and service. I was lucky enough to find a free vacant parking space right across the street because it was Saturday.

The service was good, the atmosphere incredibly millennial, but the food was just… bland. It felt like the burger had little to no seasoning and the toppings really didn’t add much. It was definitely not a strong burger. Regular were good, sweet potato fries not as much.

I got the over easy burger and it was excellent. The ingredients tasted fresh and it was well cooked and seasoned. The fries were okay, nothing special but not enough to deter the meal. They have a very tasty house hot sauce that I’d reccomend. I’d reccomend this restaurant if you like burgers. I’d say pricy but worth it. I’ll have to come back for the secret burger sometime. Cool concept.

Had the keto burger. Was awesome, great combo. Son had the burger you can’t talk about and loved it. Definitely a place to visit. Was a little early for dinner, extremely quiet, I am sure the weather didn’t help.

delicious! Everything tasted so FRESH! Food came out very fast. Burger was cooked exactly as requested, fries (sweet potato and regular) were very good. Great atmosphere. Most importantly…some of the best fried pickles ive ever had! Would highly recommend and would come just for the pickles!
